  1. Need installation ideas

Use these, perhaps? Alpina Manufacturing in Chicago manufactures these and they are not only a great product, but the wholesale prices on these things are ridiculously cheap so you can make a decent markup. You could do these with coroplast, PVC, banner material, or a host of other options.
  2. Pantone color of the year

I like last years Radiant Orchid better than this years choice. It looks like pink cake vomit.
  3. Font Help Please

It appears to be "A Dripping Marker" that has been slightly skewed and perhaps slightly modified.

  6. Question on an install technique

I just installed these today on a friend's snowmobile trailer with 3M IJ180. They were 155" x 30" and I center hinged them and applied them with the use of a helper. Fortunately there were no rivets and it took about a half hour to clean and a half hour to install. I could have done it myself...
  7. what kind of sign vehicle do you guys drive?

We must have a thing for 2003 Chevy trucks, I guess. Right now we have a 2003 Trailblazer, and two 2003 Suburbans. One is black, one is blue, and one is red, otherwise they all pretty much look identical.
  8. What is the best CLEAR app tape

Hmmm...our roll of AT75 is clear, more or less. It's got a slightly hazy white appearance, but definitely not yellow, although yours is perhaps yellow from age. Also, the AT75 is from the Clear Choice line, not the Conform line, so you might have something altogether different there. I would...
  9. What is the best CLEAR app tape

We have used both AT65 and AT75 with 651 and I've noticed the same thing with the AT65, that it releases form the vinyl rather than pulling the vinyl away from the backing. As far as technical data goes on both, RTape says the AT65 is considered medium tack, whereas the AT75 is considered high...
  10. 54" Roll material rack

From an online metals supplier. They even cut them to length for me. It was probably Shapiro Metals out of St. Louis.
  11. 54" Roll material rack

We used these for our DIY vinyl rack... http://www.menards.com/main/electrical/rough-electrical/strut-supports/strut-channel-12-gauge-green-10/p-1628627-c-12477.htm Then we used 1/4" round steel rods to hang the rolls from. We spaced them about 26" apart and the rods are cut to 30" long. It...
  12. Professional proposals with mock-ups

If you use Peachtree City Foamcraft to outsource these types of signs, they have pdf mockups of all of their standard monument signs.
  13. Couple handmade signs in progress...

Oh, okay. That's an approach I didn't expect. I figured it was carved from HDU.
  14. Couple handmade signs in progress...

Judging by the precision of the Neato sign, I think it's obvious that you intentionally made the 206 sign look slightly less than perfect. Great work on both. Did you file the bevels into the numbers or cut with a chisel?
  15. Font Help Please

    ITC Bookman SWA (Demi Bold)
  16. 2-color cut vinyl on one premask for customer install?

If you have a light table (or a piece of glass, acrylic, or polycarb to rig one up) applying a two color graphic to one layer of application tape isn't hard to do at all. Especially since you're not actually stacking any vinyl, it should be smooth sailing.
  17. A couple new fonts I recently designed.

Here are a few originals, Marlene. You'll be hard pressed to find any fonts even remotely similar to Tattoo Script, Zeronine, and Maxx Voltage. I have a few others that are completely original, but haven't done any specimens of them yet, mostly because I'm too busy always working on new fonts...
  18. A couple new fonts I recently designed.

I will add some alternate characters. ;)
  19. A couple new fonts I recently designed.

Understandable. I'll post some more tonight to show you some that are a bit more original and uninspired by other fonts. I don't have a lot of my newer font files handy at work to post. The western style font was inspired by Boston Truckstyle, as I really like the style of that font, but I...
