In sleep mode why doesn't the fan around the boards shut off? It constantly is running??? Noisy machine.... when my sp300v sleeps nothing is running...

Can I change my six color (roland soljet sc-545ex) cmyklmlc to a cmyk x2 or cmyk w metallic? If so how?

you were right... I swapped the heads and now the light magenta is doing it....What causes this is a problem in the head? can It be fixed? is it possible to switch the data board that's on the head?

but I even swapped the black and light magenta head, and it still did it when it fires black???

Please help I cant figure out why my black is doing this? I have checked all data cables, cant find anything wrong? If swapped the light magenta head and the black head had and its still the same? Black still going crazy.. The top pic is the cables plugged in normally, the middle is the black...

So is my color gamut wider with light cyan and light magenta? Whats the benefit of a six color? I have a roland soljet 545 ex....6color.... how do you change it back to a 4 color?

What actually causes these two colors to fire during print? Is there a specific cmyk that I can use to get these two heads to fire by there selves? Might be stupid question...just trying to understand

You guys were right about the yellow... The cable wasn't pushed in the head all the way.... Still I wonder what the deal is why the light magenta and light cyan won't print (group c) ... I know there is ink in the dampers and the head because I've pulled ink through them... They just won't fire

I'm trying to add a soljet sc545ex... It's an Ethernet connection where my versacamm is a usb... Can seem to connect the soljet through Ethernet??? How do I find IP address on soljet? Any ideas how to hook them up?

I recently bought this printer used...everything worked but it was extremely nasty...when I got to the shop I pulled all the ink carts out and started to do a massive clean...well after I finished (12 hours later) i put ink cats back ....and powered back on.... it now flashes all 12 ink...

Has anybody bought supplies from digiprint-supplies.....if so are they any good? Pretty good prices on the net.
