I have been using Bordeaux for a couple years and love it. Just found out my supplier (premier color) is not carrying it anymore...Where is everyone buying theirs at? I want it in bulk (1 liter bottles). Fellers has it in 440 but not 1 liter?

Is there a real benefit of upgrading your printers firmware? How do you even find out if your firmware is up to date? I haven't upgraded in years? Doesn't roland have a site your printer firmware updates...Only thing that seems to get updated is versaworks

please help me figure out why these lines are showing up in my prints in versaworks... it does it on both my printers...so it's either a coreldraw problem or a versaworks problem... it's very inconsistent...sometimes they appear, and sometimes it's perfect...any ideas?

I have a roland sp300v and a sc545ex....I use the same profile for both printers, same setting and there colors are totally different...I realize the 545 is a 6 color with the light cyan and magenta...but they should be close? The 4 color printer actually looks better....the 545 the greys are...

Ive changed thermostat and thermistor...Print heater still wont heat, but dryer heater works fine? Where is the fuse the powers the heaters? Could it be heater board? Which heater board would cause this? How do I troubleshoot it? wasting time and money trying to get print heater up...Any help...

thanks for the info...if a transistor is open would it read on a meter gauge? whats resistor value? Would that just be a transistor change on the board to fix both of those problems? Any idea which transistor I should specifically look at Maybe the one behind the 3 fuses)? I checked all the ones...

I have a Roland soljet 545ex that I purchased used that wasn't took care of... I have gotten all the heads firing now (had to buy one head) after having been sitting for 6 months unplugged. Printer has low hours and heads were about a year old. My problem is that one side of my light magenta...

So I replaced the printer thermistor.... Still print heater won't heat up? Any ideas? Printer thermostat ?

Yes ...Thank You Ragnabrok....That's how I got to the print thermistor...took the fan off and it was right above it....only problem now is getting it out....seems to be wire tied underneath the bed

Is there two different thermistors? One for the dryer and one for the printer.... took the aprons off...There is a flat plate under the bed platen...it has a fan even tied to it...I traced one thermistor to the dryer and another one going through the plate up inside the platen?

Can someone please tell me where the little thermistor board is located on this printer...Please tell me its not under the bed....If so how in the world do you get the bed off...its got a flat plate and a fan screwed to it and the heater board is in the way to? I change one on a vp540 the other...

Ive checked everything you said....Took the head out and moved it..It works in another slot, but now the head I moved to that slot...one side doesn't fire...Its gotta be electrically? Ive put tried 3 different data cables on that one side..Still wont fire?? If it was a fuse that whole group...

put the old dampers back...test pattern is perfect except that one side of the light cyan...What could cause this? Ive changed data cables? I know its not the head because it was working in another printer, and I just swapped it over to this machine?
