Are the printing of gradients any better in 21 than they are in 10.5? Smooth Gradients are really hard to make it look good in 10.5 with out a noticeable transition in the gradient. You almost have to raster it to make it look decent. Is it any better in 21?
So I have 2 Roland Printers a Soljet Pro II 545ex and a Soljet Pro III XC-540... I have a profile (RML File) that prints perfect on my 545ex.. problem is I can import it into veraworks to my XC540. I really dont understand why it wouldnt work considering they have the same 6 heads, ink and...
hmm dont understand what your saying? does my pdf show up as RGB blacks 10%-50% and a couple of spot colors(boxes) with a couple of blues? if so export it out of corel x6 as a eps.. import it into versaworks or your rip software and print it ...see if those greys are reddish ..thank you
It printed fine outta corel X3...the profile on my printer shouldnt be the issue because the profiles are color calibrated inside versaworks.. It has no reflection of outside software...it printer perfect in x3 with the same versaworks profile....i think it has something to do with x6 color...
Seems no matter what color management settings i select in x6.. my rgb greys and spot color greys are way off (redish). all my cmyk stuff is fine... my rgb exports worked perfectly when i exported them in x3 to my roland.. ive selected simulate color management off and simulate corel x4...

I have a roland 545ex that has a Fuji electric pxr-4 heater.. The problem is the heater wont stay on desired temperature ( it just goes to the max everytime you turn it on). I guess the relay is stuck in it. So after reading on here I saw where you could get a replacement from instrumart.com...
I had a practically brand new head (black) that I dropped a tiny drop of cleaning solution (with the machine even unplugged) on the tiny board of it and now it wont fire at all...I know that its in the head because I checked all the fuses and transistors and they are all ok... I also moved...
is it possible to print cmyk profile only with roland 545ex (its a cmyklclm machine) in versaworks... I saw on rolands website where they had cmyk only profiles for this machine. I downloaded them, but everytime I try to bring them into versaworks it states an error because that's not my...
no its real flo ink...its so new still a lot of testing going on and still a ways to go...fading is a huge issue, fades a lot faster than the neon vinyl...if they can slow down the fade to at least the vinyl fade time then it would change the market for sure.
yes, im using eco solvent... yes but sometimes when I print a little heavy it tries to stick to the back of the paper when I unroll it...I was thinking a dryer would help keep this from happening
I have a Roland 545ex.. what is everybody using as a dryer? I see where benes online dryer was used back in the day, but I can't find one under 2k..? Any other ideas that won't break the bank
