ive tried it either way...both with the same result...id would like to create it out of corel draw but print it in flexi...but I've tried both ways and the gradients are awful printed out of flexi...the gradients are vectors though, maybe I need to create it to a bitmap and try that?
How do you get the horizontal lines out of the flexi gradients...Its awful...I have a gradient that goes from 60black to white then back to 60black and no matter how or what I do the gradient is awful.. its not a smooth gradient no matter what setting (normal, enhanced or super)...I can still...
whats the cheapest color device on the market that has full onyx support for building profiles? Like the xrite i1 pro 2? Do you need just the device, or do you need the extra software like the xrite i1 pro 2 publish offers?...or is the device all you need? Thanks for info
Ok, so If I reset to factory defaults, what would be the next step? would it ask for those different ink configs, or would it be in the service menu? Thanks VanderJ for the help
I have a Roland sc545ex.. it's a 6 color cmyklclm printer... they have the same printer that has an ink configuration of cmykww and cmykwmt...my question is there a hardware difference between the machines? Or is it all software? I can't find in the service menu where u can change between those...
Has anybody had success white the dtp41b and onyx12? I can get versaworks to see it, but not onyx12..It always states "a device error 43 occurred. make sure device is configured correctly." I'm running windows 7. Colorport and tool crib can see it too, just not onyx12
No where close on my printer.... I have a roland soljet 545ex. I print 1080x1080 3m 1j180 CMYKcm profile.... as a rough estimate in the past year I've printed probably 7-8 liters of black , 6-7 liters of magenta, cyan and yellow, and I still haven't print a full liter of lc or lm???
Its just that I had a 4 color cmyk printer that prints blacks and colors fine... I'm sure I could get my 6 color printer to print to print those channels like that, without the lc and lm channel printing.. Then I could free up those 2 channels to print different inks, maybe a more vibrant...
I appreciate the help, but I don't think this is going to work.... I'm trying to replace the whole lc lm channel...not just a replacing a specific cmyk color. you cant even select the lc lm channels in those sections, you can only replace a color value in cymk... The ink config will be cmyk ss...
So I've been messing with onyx 12. I have a cmyklclm printer that I want to change the the lc and lm channels to print spot colors like green and orange....Ive looked for profiles on onyx website, and all over the net, but no luck....
My problem is I can create a new media in onyx media manager...
Can someone please help me set x6 color management like the color management in x3. Been using x3 for years and satisfied with the output color management settings. I can print the same file in x6 and always get different and worse results compared to x3. Seems like all my colors are off...
jack, you think you could help me sir. I saw where u said you fixed your heater control on your pro 2...could you possibly tell me how you did it and where you got the parts to fix it...don't really want to spend 600 on this one part. thank you
Jason
I was wondering if I could get help with an issue...my vp test prints are beautiful! they look like the heads are brand new...no drop outs...no deflection....However when I print cyan it looks like ink starvation and the print appears to be overspraying somewhat...What would cause this? Its only...
