Jill what about the placement of signs graphics. On yours it spans much wider under everything and I kept it under impact. Thoughts on that one way or the other?

I really agree about the keening. I need to watch that before submitting another for critique. Thanks for the mock up. What do you think about the earlier suggestions of making the word impact more bold but use the same font and same kerning?

Also, on the latest critique, if those issues are addressed would it be decent? I mean am I chasing my tail here only to end up with a logo that is correctly adjusted from the feedback, but still have a bad logo. In other words are you offering advice cause it has potential? If you don't think...

I think the current problem is the ICON is too big, now that I have seen Jill's mock up. If an ICON is that big, it better be amazing. So if I shrink it like on Jill's it won't have to live up to so much, and the words can take over. Thoughts on that observation?

Ok, so here is my latest working. Changed the fonts from the harsh style, simplified the icon and adjusted some other stuff. I am working on one now, that looks like Jill's layout, but with the current graphic style I have. I'll post for comments when I am done.

Guys I think he meant, that he is adding an additional 5 cents to the charge of whatever the letters are. In others words, let's say 5.00/sqft for the vinyl and a 5 cent charge for using the cutter. total 5.05/sqft Still a bad way to approach the product, but I think that has to be what he is...

I did like it, I'll be honest. However, I just couldn't get it to not look like a boot or a tank or a truck on the thumbnail. So I through in our skyline and fun text, I think it will stick (I am hoping anyway). I am gonna keep working on designing, but at some point I gotta go with something...

Another factor that Dan pointed out in another thread, and I wrote a blog about it. Design has been for the most part eating by many shops. I know several personally in my area that don't really charge for it. Aside from that, is the design itself, as Dan said, the market will evolve. Customers...

You're brave :D Maybe I'll practice with some rapid tac and see how it goes on some glass before I head out. This is quite a large job, and will be viewed very closely. A bit nervous to be honest, and I don't like feeling that way.
