These laminators work amazingly good for how cheap they are. I highly recommend them.
Is that error code listed in the trouble shooting part of the graphtec manual? I haven't seen that one. Mine ended up being that it was set to the read the wrong type of registration mark. And the first cutter I got was broke. Got a new one shipped in and setup and it works.
I just get where...
This printer is AWESOME!! I printed over 75 feet of solid colors without any dropout! That would have never happened with my VP-540. I highly recommend it.
I got this email from my Lexjet rep. Wish I could have taken advantage of this deal.
I have tried reading the manual, but I can't figure out how to fine tune the cutting alignment. When you are looking at the cutter, the prints are off to the right a little (towards the control panel). I am not sure exactly how to fix this.
I am printing on an HP L25500 and using Caldera...
I was able to get it to read the crop marks, sometime. The times it does, it goes back to the start and just sits there and says "working" on the display.
Yes, I have the crop marks on and the cutting enabled.
I did get him to email the instructions. I went through all of the steps and made all of the changes that he sent, but still had no luck. I seen on the cutter that there are 2 types of crop marks. Should I have it set on type 1 or type 2?
Also, on mine it prints out multiple crop marks around...
Hi Coloradosigns.
I do have that part. It does everything up to the point when I hit the "cut" button. I just get an error on the cutter like it can't read the marks.
My marks print out like "crop marks". Is that correct? On all of the videos that I have watched theirs look like they are...
I am running a L25500 and a FC8000 off of Caldera VisualRIP+. Has anyone done any print and cut work from this? I did a print with the marks, but haven't figured out how to set up the cutter to read them and cut it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
What translucent material are you using? I have some 3M stuff I am picking up Monday morning for a rush job, so I am hoping that it works good as I don't have any time for screw ups.
Any preferred settings?
I don't know why they wouldn't, but I have not personally asked. Look up Matt Molenbeek : mmolenbeek@advantagesignsupply.com. He is a merchant member here on the forum. He would be able to answer any questions for you.
Not to go a stray, but you can get Caldera VisualRIP+ installed and ready to go on a new Mac Mini for under $3k from Advantage. I love it with my L25500!
Do you have to have 60"? I would look I to the canon ipf8300. It's a 44" wide 12 color pigmented ink printer that is inexpensive to run, awesome quality and pretty fast. I think LexJet has them right now for around $3k. That is brand new with a warranty. Give David a call. He was very good to...
The OMAS was enabled for both the printer and the RIP (Caldera VisualRIP+).
The scaling was 100%. The width was right, just the length was off. The best way I can describe it is it was like there was too much resistance on the vinyl coming off of the roll.
