  1. How well does your roland cut after laminated?

I just cut out 4 items that were 16' long. All words being cut out. Was on within a 1/16th of an inch. There were solid colors so I left enough bleed. I think mine works great too.

  5. Question for ValueJet owners

My original plan was to go with a 6 color printer. But I hear it more and more that you don't notice that big of a difference with the lC and lm. It is hard for me to choose because I can tell a difference with some sample prints that I have seen. I have a friend with a JV3 with a 6 color setup...

  9. What would you buy?

I am in the market for a 64" printer. I am trying to go through all of my options from the Mutoh Valuejet to the new Roland VS-640. 12. Woop Woop ... T-Printz.. PRETTY NICE STUFF

I have been using the T-Printz as well. I am going through my second 50' roll now. The only thing I have had not work so good is that on some black shirts the white part of the print turned grey. So the color of the fabric of some shirts has bleed through. Also, on colorful jerseys, the ink or...
  13. Vs-640

Of those that have the new VS-640, what do you think of it so far? I will be getting a new printer and trying to figure out what one I want. I want at least 6 colors. The white and silver could be a good benefit as no one in my area has the ability to print white or silver. The other printer I...
  14. 10 mil poster paper for Roland

GF Poly is from Intelicoat I believe. It does print very nice and is a very high gloss material. Fairly inexpensive too. For me it has taken a little longer too dry.

Roland has a poster paper themselves

I have had luck with the Mimaki style. The white ones from CMYK parts were too stiff and bound up in the wiper scraper on my machine.

I haven't had good luck using clear on white plexi. The prints always looked washed out, so I print on translucent and put on either clear or white plexi. Works great.
  19. Bordeaux Ink = No Chips ?

Thanks for the info!! It can be hard to choose when there are so many. You have Solaris, Bordeaux, Triangle, Mega Ink, JStar, etc. It is good to hear of one that people are having good luck with and not having to reprofile. I have seen a lot more ads for the Bordeaux inks as well.
  20. Bordeaux Ink = No Chips ?

Have you had to do a lot or any re-profiling when you switched to Bordeaux?
