the damage a few screw holes leave in sheet rock can be patched and painted. VHB tape can take to paper off the sheet rock and it can do much more damage than screws. if they are concerned about damage, that may be an issue. we use VHB tape for those types of signs but then no one has asked...
yep it will work but go into your plotter settings on the plot page and move the speed bar down to about 10 or less. it will cut like a sloth but it won't jump off the sprockets
there also is an acrylic that does this. it's been around for a long time and I think it was used for some JCPenny stores in my area. we didn't make thme so not sure
hand up as fast as you can. if you are polite and talk to them for any time, that goes into the "maybe" file and they'll call you back. just say "not interested" and hang up.
tried to look at the price list a merchant member posted for sign cabinets and got the attached message. never seen a message like that before, what's up?
I don't think it looks liek just the paint is damaged. if the heat was enough to do that, HDU is just urethane and the texture of it must be damaged so it would never be smooth again. maybe a belt sander? I wouldn't put any chemicals on it
if you are doing OK on ebay, why not just do that? the other end of it you can either give up on or charge for the labor to do the leg work, not much else you can do.
becoming a UL shop when you don't build cabinets all the time is a waste of money. just buy a UL cabinet and be done with it. there are a few whole sale vendors on the site, check with them for a quote. no need to refer to anotehr shop. we aren't UL and sell cabinet signs and channel letters...
