I am not aware of that in Wings. I have the top level available but I am still learning stuff about digitizing. And you are right, the separate elements in the font make a big difference in the auto digitizing.
All those extras on the letters takes a lot of time. I have an autodigitizer for fonts that works really well except for athletic fonts which come out really bad with satin stitching. Doing a oneoff with all those letters is pretty tedious. I was able to get the FLF to autodigitize pretty well...
note the serifs on the square ends of the letters and the square O's. We don't have it in our embroidery font library nor do I have anything real close to it. It is thinner than an athletic font.

He:
Doesn't have a job or business
Doesn't have a car
Sits in front of our place once a month and talks to...
The dental engraver was crazy. I didn't take a pic of it but the first day I saw the 'raw teeth' come out of the engraver and the second day I saw the finished product come out of the oven. Who knew?
Everyone at Roland was great to us. It really changes your perspective on the equipment when...
We avoid wholesale/retail places unless we cannot get what we want from a trade only location or the vendor is far enough away from us to not be competition. We do take care not to reveal customer information though which is tough sometimes as their name, email, phone and website are on their...
Here are a few pics. I liked the sink and the dental engraver that made teeth. They also had some really large flatbed and roll printers. Their lab (no pics allowed) had about a dozen machines all rolling at once and a work table about the size of our entire shop.
At training today and tomorrow at Roland headquarters in Irvine. Imprintables is running the class on the VersaCamm but what a great place. Just about everything in the lobby is printed with Roland equipment from wall graphics to drum sets, to leather jackets and chairs to whatever you can...
I would start by looking at what your application is and then selecting the right vinyl for it. The price per roll doesn't mean anything if it is the wrong media for the job.
Start with one of the big suppliers like Fellers.
