Now that you mention directly connecting to the machine.....
I know the companies are offering remote run capability but unless you have someone to hoop the garments and fix thread breaks being able to start the emb from you easy chair doesn't make sense to me. Don't pay for that option.
I forgot about needles but the machine will come with 75/11 ballpoints. You will need 75/11 sharps as well as 80/12 both sharp and ballpoint. If you do the smaller letting then the smaller needles along with the #60 thread. I was more focused on all the stuff you won't get with the machine...
For the single head, get a standard size, not a compact machine (as shown by WWD). It is good you want the 4 head as well. You can't make any money with just the single head but it gets in into the game and lets you do one-offs and sew outs.
The newer Tajima's allow you to sew right down to...
We hired 2 new people in November. We are still growing so we are looking forward to getting more work out the door. We will be at both ISS (Long Beach) and NBM (Los Angeles) at the expo on the last day for each to see our vendors and maybe look at new equipment although we just purchased a...
We normally go 2/3 down the sleeve and center on the collar or slightly over to the sleeve side. What we find is a lot of guys get shirts too big for them so the name or lb logo centered on the side is too far over, the same with pockets. For women they tend to buy too small or very tight...
We hear that. On 12/21 we didn't think we were going to make it. We hired 2 employees in November and that helped. By 2:30 on the 24th we were pretty much finished. Better than last year when I was still their working at 5.
I have had some great support from Imprintables. We have had a lot of questions on media we purchase from them and have had nothing but stellar response in time and quality.
Thanks to Mike, Jaime and Steve.
See you guys at ISS in Long Beach next month.
We support scouts and sports, both school and none school organized as well as school clubs and animal shelters. We advertise in their programs and give them wholesale pricing on spirit packs so they can use them as fundraisers. It helps them and us.
Sadly most 501(c)3 and other charity types are formed to give someone a job, not really for charity. Most operate outside of their charter as well and most of the money never gets to the stated cause.
We rarely support walk-ins for donations because of this. We do have a few that we support...
I was a manager at 2 different large fast food chains and I can tell you that labor can be up to 16% and not much more of your cost to be profitable. There are only 2 ways to get that percent, have fewer workers or pay them less. That is it, nothing political, religious or moral about it. Just...
