put pre-mask over it then make a rubbing, take the premask off then apply to a flat board (pvc) and scan that in and redraw? or take a good photo and retrace
Yeah, you're dead on. That's why I quit using that method. I could, however, alter the macro to convert selected to png then place on the proof template and make the pdf from that and also skip the password protection.
I get logos using the same method too.
You can do this in Corel the same as others have suggested. I used a pre-designed "proof template".
I created a macro to take my selection and with one icon click it would drop it onto my template. It would then automatically fill in the name of the file, the current date, and clients name. Then...
I've been trying for years to find a solution similar to the cutter mentioned above. Works great if you have no print mounted to the magnetic. Once you apply a printed sheet of 30 magnets that need to be individually cut you have no way of lining up the circle cutter on center. See my proposed...
We use three methods.
1. direct print = cost A
2. print to decal then apply to coro = cost B
3. send out for screen print
we many customers who have seen the quality difference and insist only decal prints to coro. Usually not more than 10 at a time though. Same with decal prints to pvc.
getting closer. I should be left with two shapes after playing the action. The original shape and the newly created shape with the red stroke and no fill. All I get now is the red stroke shape. The original gets deleted.
That's what I'm trying to record.
When you create an Offset Path it should be just that, an "unfilled" path. A simple and separate path around the shape with a Stroke only. Action records setting the stroke just fine but will not record a no fill.
Under the Pathfinder Toolbox Unite means to unite two shapes i.e. weld them in corel terms. No option to create a path around the two shapes or even one single shape?
Bear with me here.
tried to create a new action. Copy shape, paste in front, remove fill and change stroke color to red. Only thing it recorded was the paste in front and set stroke color.
rrrrrr
found the Pathfinder toolbox and "unite" but have not been able to get anything to work.
Trying to create a line around the perimeter of a shape without having to copy paste/paste in front then remove the fill. That's a lot of steps.
