  1. Prepping with isopropyl before printing

We use alcohol on rigid media only. Rolled media is fed out about 3ft before printing anyway so any grime is passed.
  2. Vehicle Striping Contour

  5. Cutting Magnetic Circles

I agree on this one. Tearing them out will create enough of a jagged edge to catch in the wind.
  6. Production process shortcut

On longer runs we tape onto the take-up (two person task). Shorter runs we just have a person to hold onto it until it's done.
  7. Artwork Proofing Software

Yeah, you're dead on. That's why I quit using that method. I could, however, alter the macro to convert selected to png then place on the proof template and make the pdf from that and also skip the password protection. I get logos using the same method too.
  8. Artwork Proofing Software

You can do this in Corel the same as others have suggested. I used a pre-designed "proof template". I created a macro to take my selection and with one icon click it would drop it onto my template. It would then automatically fill in the name of the file, the current date, and clients name. Then...
  9. Cutting Magnetic Circles

I've been trying for years to find a solution similar to the cutter mentioned above. Works great if you have no print mounted to the magnetic. Once you apply a printed sheet of 30 magnets that need to be individually cut you have no way of lining up the circle cutter on center. See my proposed...

That's what I'm trying to record. When you create an Offset Path it should be just that, an "unfilled" path. A simple and separate path around the shape with a Stroke only. Action records setting the stroke just fine but will not record a no fill.
  16. Adobe to Corel

yes. Offset Path at with offset at 0. No fill & stroke to red.
  17. Adobe to Corel

Under the Pathfinder Toolbox Unite means to unite two shapes i.e. weld them in corel terms. No option to create a path around the two shapes or even one single shape?
  18. Adobe to Corel

Bear with me here. tried to create a new action. Copy shape, paste in front, remove fill and change stroke color to red. Only thing it recorded was the paste in front and set stroke color. rrrrrr
  19. Adobe to Corel

found the Pathfinder toolbox and "unite" but have not been able to get anything to work. Trying to create a line around the perimeter of a shape without having to copy paste/paste in front then remove the fill. That's a lot of steps.
