Fred, I'm not THAT old and remember watching these shows with my mother all the time. Many times I sit down with my family and watch some of the programs just to remind myself of those timesand to see if my kids can appreciate any of it. Thanx for sharing

We have a tracking system that moves the job thru each station once the person receives it and finishes it. It tracks it and we are able to look in and see what station it is at. We did the paperwork and stamp method, but it does not work as well.

I don't ever print on my printer or match off my computer. I actually need the PMS to match. Printers, monitors, etc....they always print differently and colors are not the same on each one.

We here in Georgia shoot guns, but we used to travel to TENNESSEE. They changed the law here and now we just go to the parking lots of various businesses and they make you sign a waiver that you WILL NOT set off in the state of Georgia. I promised not to.

We have used Mathews for years and if the customer wants an exact match they have to send us the PMS color. My paint guys are usually dead on and can match it. We have had maybe one issue this year on color match. It's a great system. It seems everyone on here knows Mathews.

It's been getting really hot in the shop here as well. I do the same by keeping the fridge stocked, but even with fans it is HOT!!! I have changed our hours for the shop. I let them come in as early as they want so they can leave before the heat is overwhelming. I let one guy rotate on...
