I've considered that, however since this also has the cutter $7k isn't for the printer by itself. I don't know what the 55" 1400 Ultima is worth, but a comparable Graphtec would be around $3k used. I also forgot to mention the printer also comes with the takeup reel. No doubt it's a gamble...

Depends on who you sell it to, and what they know or don't know. *I was baffled when I recntly saw a refurb. FJ-50 converted to solvent ink sell for nearly $8,000 on ebay. In the same breath, you can buy a brand new 1204 from SW for $8995 with warranty.

AFAIK Versaworks only works with the newer Pro2 machines. (Will not work with the older FJ's.)
