Not another one wanting to print flourecent colours on a CMYK printer.
Please note it is impossible to print these colours on your machine.
Also note you cannot print metallics either!

We have a seperate thermometer to check our press comes up to temperature.
I would advise buying one as the temp settings on the controls are way out on ours.
Also check you are using the correct vinyl for the material you are pressing.

What printer are you running?
I used to use Signlabs RIP years ago and when installing the valuejet 1604 I decided there and then that their was no way I was going tro use Signlab as a printing device.
I have found through bad experience (years!) that the Sign Programmes (especially...
I have a CMYK/RGB match for Oracal 651 gold (or as good as you can get it on CMYK)!
I am using Wasatch so my profiles don't match youurs.
When I go in 2mora ill have a look.
I personally do not adjust profiles too much as when you change one thing in a profile it will upset another! And you...
I lost a job last week that I had put a quote £2,000+VAT.
It was for an alluminium composite sign with a digital print 40' x 9' installed.
Customer called back to ask if my price was correct?
I was a bit concerned because when I initially priced this I started to panic I had underquoted!
No was...
I can only say that out of every 10 customers who bring me artwork which is supposed to be suitable.
About 9 of them either have to go and find me better artwork or I have to reproduce it.
Wait until you get someone with a piece of artwork the size of a postage stamp and wants it blown up over...

Thanks for the reply on the DOS Disks and yes it has been a long time since I used DOS.
I have been formatting in Windows using DD and HD (with the window covered) disks but still can't get it to read the disks even though they come up as 730kb after formatting.
I think the problem is that...
I have aquired an old melco embroidery machine which has an Old 3.5" 720kb drive so it can read designs.
I have software to create these designs and I am waiting for some old double sided double denstiy disks to use on it.
But will the old disks read and write on my 1.44kb floppy drive?
Or will...

I only check my speeling when urt's nessursury.....LOL
I started my sign carrer on a mechanical engraver and to load the copy into the machine you had to be able to spell backwards as well as forwards.
I've become lazy with spell checkers.

Welcome from Cumbria, UK to the BEST sign site in the world.
A lot of things have changed in 15 years!!!!
A hell of a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game has become a lot harder and the price of equipment and software has dropped dramatically.
To be honest it would be better business sense to get a...
I don't think you have understood!
The machine needs to be left switched on at the plug but it doesn't need to be turned on at the button on the fascia.
It will do the cleaning cycle automatically.
Also keep some material in the machine with the lever down as it won't do a cleaning cycle unless...
That is one mad looking flying machine.
All I can say is you are some crazzzzy people.
Do you not need tests and the airspace people to come and test your flying machine?
In the UK you couldn't just go do that (wish you could!) Guess you are living in the land of the free...
I know the Wright...
Well the Ioline Studio 7 is a few years old now!
I used one back in the 90s and if I remember it was a nightmare making it cut over 2M long.
It would not plot a 1.5M oval and let the ends join!
I don't think there is a problem with software for your plotter I think the problem is finding...

I have a VJ1604 same as yours.
1)DO NOT TOUCH THE PRINT HEAD!!!!!
2) DO NOT PANIC....
First thing you need to do is soak the head (don't use alcohol!).
This will clean the blocked nozzeles after the head strike.
Get one of the cleaning cartridges and drain some of the cleaning fluid...
In my opinion you are going to need the 64" machine for wraps.
You will definitley kick yourself for not buying the bigger machine.
We have VJ 1604 64" and although we don't do wraps at the moment we have applied some large prints to vehicles and would have ended up with a lot more panels on...
