Good Grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am starting to wonder if anyone would like to pay full price. You may find the answer is NO.
I have never had anyone in the forces ever ask for discount, if they did it would make me wonder if they really were!
We get a lot of people come in and act as if they are a...
Hi all
I posted this in Mutoh but have had no replies.
I am urgently needing a profile for Wasatch
Has anyone got or made a profile for printing Convex matte Inkjet vinyl on our Valuejet 1604?
I have tried a few but they are not very dense in the colours.
Convex sent me a profile but it still...
Walk away from this job....
You gave this customer good advice, he ignored it!
If he is still being cheap and ignorant that it now needs a new face let him find someone else to do the job.
I would walk away. Sometimes saying NO is the only thing to do.

We bought a little camera to replace one that got stolen just for scaling customers vehicles.
I didn't want to buy anything as expensive as our previous camera as it was upsetting loosing £1,000 worth of camera.
Now cameras have come down in price and the resolution has shot up and it makes some...
I personally don't use flexi but have been using Signlab since version 3.1.
The one thing I have noticed and I still have the originals. Is how over the years and different versions of the programme how the manual has turned from a quiet hefty book into a small pamflette!!
This is even more so...
Surely someone has used there VJ to print onto convex matte material.
I am having to use a previous profile but set it to overprint so to get more ink down on this matte material.
The only problem now is everything is too dark!
Help...
I am having problems printing convex material on our Mutoh Valuejet.
I have been given the profile for it for our Wasatch RIP but the colours are very washed out.
I have found this is the only profile that will not allow me to change anything in the RIP.
I have used other homemade profiles using...
I feel like going over taking a picture of what they have got (if it's still there after last night) and e-mailing what they got and what a 30'x10' would have looked like and just putting on the e-mail a question mark!
I dealt with this dealership about 12 years ago and they were always cutting...
I had a car dealership contact me for 2 site boards to be manufactured for a new site they are having built nearby.
The sizes of these are to be 30'x10' on wooden untreated posts with a from ground to top height of 14' with a full colour print of the site completed.
When I heard nothing back...
Coroplast for any permanent sign is a no go.
Coroplast is meant to be a cheap throw away means of advertisement.
This is the customer thinking of a better way of making a cheap means of advertisement last longer and ending up costing more.
The only advantages is the main frame would be stronger...
If the picture is a CYMK print you are getting cross contamination of the inks.
Are you sure the tubes are pulling ink through if not you have a cap seal problem or blocked tubes.
Check the double connector between the maintenance and the pump as I have just cleaned mine and found it to be...

How do you manually release the head?
After soaking the capping station I have got 1 side of the pump working.
I'm hoping after further soaks and getting some cleaning fluid through the pipes both sides will be clear.
It will probably use more ink now!!! As the cleaning function is once again...
When I put the capping/maintenance station in all I did was run a carridge maintenance and whilst the head was way over on the left I pulled the station of as it had no electrical connections and I left the machine on.
This time when I remove the pump there is an electrical connection.
Should...
Well I finally replaced the Capping/maintenance station.
It was a little fiddly but I have got it all back together.
The only problem was the pump at the back which pulls the ink through from the Capping/maintenance station. All the pipes are blocked solid with dry ink.
Can I take it out and...
Our VJ is the 1604 64" which now has neen suceeded by the 1614.
It's the best investment we have ever made.
Easy to use and maintain.
Fast and economical....
It's maybe not as well built as a Mimaki but we have had ours 3 years this October and it is still on its original printhead and the test...
We have just upgraded all our computers to dual core machines and we specified XP as one of them is still on a parallel port dongle.
Signlabs basic programme hasn't changed since Signlab 5!
Believe me as I have had the programme in pieces.
I have checked and Cadlink should be able to issue USB...
