I changed to Lyson inks but the machine was over 2 years old.
Lyson inks are better than OEM at least that is my opinion.
They smell a bit more but that makes the day go by quicker...lol

I seriously don't think he has time to do anything like that!!!...LOL
Good Mod though.
I think the only option he has is to buy yet another printer to take one offline to clean it!

I was over at a friends screen printing business on Wednesday.
Over the last 3 years he has diversified into digital printing (mainly by my advice) and now has a JV3 and a JV33.
I was at his premises and the young guy who runs these machines was fighting with getting a print to look good with...
This is an easy one.
When I get someone in my shop like this person I ask them "how much have you got to spend"
We all start at the bottom.
I have bent my prices sometimes to help a new business.
Sometimes it pays later..

I have had 3 similair incidents this year!
2 out of the 3 times the customer was incorrect and had ordered the wrong item and was trying to blame us for printing the wrong one!
I think you have been done out of your time and materials!
I would ring him back and demand him to bring back the...
I would contact him but I would have made notes on the job sheets when and how I had unsuccessfully contacted him before.
Then stating on the aforementioned dates you recieved no reply.
It is now 10 months since any contact ask him if he has been as we English people say "having a holiday at Her...
Have patience (I know it's hard when you need the printer up and running)
I have found soaking with head cleaner and making sure after 4 hours that it has got enough cleaning fluid in.
Normally after a weekend this should be all back and running.
You are doing the right thing. It just takes time.

Hi
Have you soaked your head in cleaning fluid?
If this has been an issue from day one It may not clear.
I agree this is why you have trouble with blues and greens as it is using the cyan to create them.
If the machine is out of warranty the only answer is to change the head!
I honestly think...
I'm glad to see you pulled away from using Signlab as your RIP.
I probably spent 2 years trying to make the damn thing work.
I now design in Signlab and output on Wasatch.
Signlab was way to compicated and all it did was make you go round in circles.
I now am happy with a close match to colours...
I rekon that's an electrical problem.
Not a blocked head as you can see it is still printing the test pattern.
Something is touching and making it overprint.
Double check your cables and then I would be thinking about a new head!
How old is the machine?

Removal jobs take as long as it takes!!!!
You can't quote these types of jobs.
Please tell the customer that you accept no liabilty for damage to the paintwork.
Why won't the original company remove it? I bet they have had a quote for removal and ran away.
DON'T BE CHEAP ON THIS JOB YOU WILL...
We state on our invoices all materials supplied by us is ourproperty until paid for in full.
Believe me I have ruined businesses taking their signs down for non payment.
I know it's a bit late but if this was a new customer the job should have been paid for in full before commencing.
Normally if...
Why are you changing the PF Motor?
The reason I am asking this is when ours started to jump we thought it was the motor.
It ended up being the encoder wheel had warped.
It is easy to remove and replace but if yours is jumping it is not the motor causing this it's the encoder wheel.

As the start of the thread says this is no easy task and sometimes looks impossible.
I have printed lime green but I have found with our valuejet the highter the reolution the closer the match.
I think we are all trying to match something so complex as lime green, with just a handful of colours...

I have already contacted convex.
What do you pay for it in the US Print Material and Laminate?
Who would like to send me some?
Obviously I will have to pay import on the items but comparing the material I have been sent by APS Convex costs 4 times that in the UK!!!!

Hi all
I still haven't found time to replace all this assembly.
Can I just remove the rubber seal of my new assembly and replace the old one?
Is this seal removeable and how?!
