Printer uses dye-based ink. Only good for short term interior work. Ink will fade quite fast and isn't water resistant. Actually, the black is pigment ink, but the other 3 colors are dye ink.

The 5500 / 5000 is a workhorse. Lexjet has ink for this printer and you don't have to re-profile.

If you don't have a laminater or Big Squeegee, lay it down as if it were premasked cut vinyl. Use the center-hinge method and you'll have no problems. Use a piece of felt from velcro on your squeegee to minimize scratching or you can use a piece of release liner on your squeegee.

When I had my PC50 I used Coreldraw 9 and Windows 98 se. No problems at all.

Tried to use flexi today and Productiom Manager wouldn't even open. I un-installed flexi an re-installed. Works great now! For how long? Who knows!

This has happen to me before, but last time all I did was restart the computer. I did get working today after 3 restarts and resetting preferences. For now it works...........but it'll happen again.

I have flex 7.6 v2. Just went to send a file to cut the following shows up: "Connection to Production Manager timeout" I checked my Firewall settings and that is fine. Restarted computer and that didn't help. Should I re-install Flexi? Any ideas? I

The Vivera pigment inks are considered the best aqueous inks out there. Better than Epson K3 inks which are very good. I applied Epson prints that are laminated that have been outside facing south for almost 3 years.......very, very little fade and the prints are red (Canadian Flag)!

I have the HP Z2100 which is sorta like the little brother to the 6100, except much slower. I can attest that these are great printers. Love the color from the Vivera inks.

I also have Corel 9 and plan on upgrading to x3. When I bought Corel 9 upgrade it came with a libraries catalogue. Will I get a catalogue with the x3 upgrade?

24x36 cora double sided..........$25?.........$45?..........I know materials cost more here (Canada), but I wouldn't take that job unless I got $70 each based on that quanity.
