Comparing prices between the mimaki cjv series and the rolands...roland seems to have the better price and warranty atleast in my part of the world. Also, mimaki has some weird media widths...39"?
Does anyone have problems with computer shutting down while using x4? I see others had it happen to them, but while printing or having other applications open. It happens too frequent and I don't have any printing or apps going on at the same time. I downloaded SP1 from corel...hoping that might...
I have a hp z2100 which prints excellent for what I use it for, although it's not considered a production printer. Have you looked into the z6100 printer, it took the place of 5500.
Just upgraded from 9 to 14. I still have 9 installed but want to remove it. Can I do so even though X4 is an upgrade?
Also, I can't find text kerning and spacing in the text docker? Any idea why?
Thanks
You would be surprised how long the signs will last. I have some laminated epson test prints that have been outside facing south for 3 years and no fade / no de-lamination.

The Canon uses aqueous pigment inks suited for indoor work, although can last outside when laminated. This printer is considered a photo, pop, etc. printer.
If looking to do wraps you have to go with a ecosolvent or solvent printer like the Mutoh you mentioned.
Now...with that being said...
