    we had a heat assist in our old shop, never really used it much. Our new laminator is a cold model, it works great! yes there is some silvering at times when using calendered laminate, but it goes away overnight or with some heat. No issues at all with cast lams.

    42oz?!? looks like a printable linoleum to me. did they give you a reason why they don't want an adhesive product? We usually use a vinyl with a removable adhesive, laminated with a non-slip laminate, it always removes nice and clean after a few months.
