you new at this i take it. to simple to handle that.
1. PRINT THAT "THING" as big as you can on an 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper.
2.now lay a sheet of tracing paper over it.
3.tape the tracing paper to the print so it dont move.
4.take a #4 pencil.......slowly trace over the outside line of the 2...
cutting from corel is pretty straight forward. install the driver from roland to corespode with your machine. your PRINT button in corel now becomes the CUT start.
1. once drive is installed
2. select print setup and it will open a window to allow you to set up the roland window.or desktop...
ya do know YOUR in the design business???..........now ifin' your good at design, why not whip up a couple of WAY BETTER LOOKIN logos.......and tell him he coulda had one of these..............for just a little more gidas, mola, simolios(money)heheheheheehehehe
pat that is one of the reasons i use KILZ BASE..... dont matter oil base or latex for it........come time to remove it........it comes off not in chips but stripes.........and release from the glass easily.
back in the day......when everybody did it with paint.......choices were 1-SHOT/RONAN POSTER PAINT for short term or regular 1-SHOT/RONAN for stuff you wanted for more then 2-3 months.
the old paints you could get a solid cover with and those that didnt we added a few drops of silver/aluminum...
gee......seems just like yesterday........when flamey showed up here........ what a putz he was.........hehehehehehehehehehe just shows............ how things change))))
and corel is so simple.........IT finds all the fonts on your computer..........and has this other little prgram called BITSTREAM FONT NAVAGATOR(you can d/l it for free)wont see goober fonts........but any TT or adobe font.......
what i find works when doing freehand art work is......
1. do your drawing in a #4 drafting pencil. it is light enough that you can see what you designed but dont leave a lot of graphite on the paper.
2. ONLY go over the object you wish to be traced.......with a brand new sharpie, std tip...
ARE THEY .........in the trade???? sign shop or broker? broker........charge em double.....pain in the arses.... it the trade, but not competing with you? or are they competition?
i got a guy here will do printing for me @$3.50 sq ft.....so i can make a little
i always told the stock guys i did work for........
how many EMBELLISHMENTS........of the numbers ....can you see from the stands................at 90 MPH????? answer was .......NONE))))))
THE MOST i would do on most of the cars i did was a 3 color number, main number color, as much contrast...
iam a COREL user from version 3........been at this since 1986..........and have had customers bring me stuff that was created in illy.....BUT I HAVE NEVER found anything......that COREL CANT DO........ that illy does)))))i to have tried numerous times to get used to illy....but so much...
