Illustrator, for printing, is a PITA! While Illy does some great things, printing, IMHO is not one of them. The reason? My theroy, is unlike Freehand, Adobe also sold/sells PageMaker and InDesign… You gotta get the layout program to get the better printing. Pretty lame, still only single pages...

That is a lot of nodes, are the fonts primarily TT or PS or what? I used to use this great little program called letraStudio, but it did that same thing, I spent hours cleaning up in Illustrator so I just stopped using it. An upgrade to X3 or X4 then down saving to Corel 12 for GA??

I have kept my IMAC G5 on for so long, until this week. Strange thing happens now…it goes to sleep and does not come back. Happened same day as when I switched to a logitech mouse. Just Strange.

How do you see using this font as solving a design problem?

Make sure your client emails you .sit or .zip of eps files cause they get corrupt in email. Or they can save as a .pdf, which can then be opened in Illy.

I was drawn to them because it is so simple, clever, complete. It is a visual thing, your mind fakes shading; which is quite interesting. In typography you often hear a lot of psycho mumbo jumbo pertaining to flat fonts, but this is real and applicable!
