i think we are talking the same problem on large cuts over 2mts. its the way that the vinyl settles on the floor. found it happens less if you slow it down about 300mm /sec, or as the vinyl is on the long cuts gently tap the vinyl with you finger about 6 ins below the bed around the center...

i have used a nikon d100 since they came out and with a decent bit of glass in front of it cant really fault it, saved in raw then in to PS to anything you want, i have done several 8ft x 4 ft fine. these are now available on the s/h market for not a lot of money could be worth a look. woolly

never tried 751c in my pc60 cos i get on so well with image perfect 5700. i woluld have thought that a laminator was a over kill as you wont be printing. any great distances and very easy to hand laminate short lengths. nerver tried the big squeege but could be just the job. frog juice works...

i thought 2x cmyk was for 8 heads and printing a larger path on each pass ,purly for speed not for a quality hike. in colour rip there is the option to run cmyk on a 6 colour machine as far as ink banding is concerened i think is down to material and profile and a lot of luck. woolly

there is no contest between the two. the versacamm is far better cheaper to run, you will not get real banner through a pc. just a couple of small benefits to the pc but none for real every day shop use. my pc 60 still delivers but compared to a VC its nothing, hence the price difference. woolly

this sort of problem looks like electrical interferance. sure you did not spill any fluids on the head boards, have you just installed a new electric heater. dust would do it but not over the whole width. nice fish woolly

do as gv posted all should be fine. i have a graphtec with arms and pleased i dont have flexy. on the graphtec you can tell the plotter how far apart the marks are and it will find them very quickly. woolly

want to help just dont know your equipment. does your q60 plotter have the arms as a extra as advertized on some site. old spandex plotters used to have a sitght you put in instead of the blade holder. unles your plotters have realignment firmware then you can only set the new0.0. and not alow...
