  1. what are some decent art packages?

Hate to say it, but I have to agree with Pat. Not a good way to kick things off here bro.
  2. Packing up for a move

Exactly what he said. Flush the system and keep the head locked down.
  3. Is this a rip-off?

I betchya he copied it. First thing that came to my mind was this http://photos.oregonlive.com/photogallery/d62392f9e950ccf2f8a29e8cd17de8fa.gif but it's different.
  4. $3.000 joke!

My e-machine fried 3 times, costing me a couple days work in total. So I took the case, and built a $550 super computer with some leftovers, good deals and a couple parts from Tiger Direct. A quote from the local PC shop "they seriously still sell these?" lol. Yep, everyone has their own...
  5. $3.000 joke!

Bro... you can have good advice, but seriously. The e-machine is one of the worst built computers to ever hit the market. Plus, I have used Flexi for almost as long as Corel, and have to say for designing Flexi isn't even in the same league as Corel, or Illustrator (been using Illy for 9 years...
  6. $3.000 joke!

How about it just being a cruddy program? Weak design tools, memory hogging... I mean, I couldn't dream of designing it it. It works ok for setting up files to print, but actually designing in it would be a joke. By no means a $3000-$4500 program. I've been through 3 versions of Flexi Pro, and I...
  7. $3.000 joke!

I also think it's a pretty bad program. Just not very well built at all.
  8. Fred Weiss - Where are you.......?

Plain and simple... you DO NOT TILE MOTOCROSS GRAPHICS. Period. You would get laughed off of the MX track. To be perfectly honest, I think you need new equipment. You either need a sprocket fed plotter or a flatbed to properly cut this crazy stuff.
  9. vespa

No file sharing is allowed. And I'd suggest if you wanted the Vespa image, go check out some clipart sites and purchase one. They're only a couple bucks I am sure.

  13. Hello from Vancouver, USA

BG Lake? hmmm I have to admit, I wonder sometimes why anyone would want to come here to visit. lol.
  14. Hello from Vancouver, USA

    You gotta be kidding me....
  15. What kind of Fonts would you like to see more of?

Casual, but not so cartoony, a little cleaner would be nice.
  16. how to make templates

You spit onto the surface and press your thumb all over the piece to be templated. Then you use that tape that CSI uses to lift finger prints, and scan it in with a UV scanner so you can see the fingerprints a little better. Find where there's curvature, and use the bezier tool to turn that area...
  17. Ghosting around dark colors on Banner...Overspray!

Possibly too low of heat, OR too much color being laid down. For example, C100, M100, Y100, K100 will print a sloppy mess on 90% of your color profiles. So I'd double check the colors too and/or profiles. Other possibility is your head isn't clean. Checked it lately?
  18. UFG - Design Contest VOTING

I am gonna looooooooose. That's what I get for only putting 20 minutes into a design. :(
  19. how do i wrap a helmet

Not going to get much advice if you don't first introduce yourself and give some more details. Advice is 100% free. ;)
  20. Need pinstripe style lightning

pinstripe as in long and skinny, sorry. I just meant I need to link it into a long "pinstripe" stripe. I'll be digitally printing it. Kind of a hokey job, but it's a job. :)
