As a Mimaki dealer I can tell you, it's 12 months of someone like me coming in and fixing any issue that may arise, and then 12 months of free parts but the service will be charged by your dealer. 12 more months of that if you register.
AS5s just came out. I just installed my first one today...
I wouldn't be surprised if there was air in the line. It's probably a bad damper or air leak. Make sure the lt cyan cartridge actually has ink in it. Sometimes it will not flag properly and cause pull back on the system.
Just confirmed with my Mimaki rep. Both SS21 and ES3 inks will need to be flushed to switch over. Also, the AS5 profiles are limited at the moment being so new.
The AS5 inks are super cheap compared to the SS21 but they are brand new so you probably will have a hard time finding a lot of user experience so far. I'm installing a new JV100 with the AS5 inks in about a week. Will be my first one with that ink set as it was just released in the US.

The spec for cutting master 4 only goes up to CC2021. If you just upgraded to CC2022, it's probably going to take a little bit for them to catch up unfortunately. Can you go back to CC2021? I'm still on CS6 so I don't know how it works these days lol.
The most effective option is the flat bed for sure. It cuts the labor of applying out completely and also the vinyl cost. But the machines are much more expensive. 23" is an unfortunate size because it's over the max of most desktop flatbeds which would be in your budget range. You'd need to get...
Air slowly filling the dampers is a sign that the seal is bad for sure. Make sure to change the o-rings when you change the dampers. They seal the connection between the ink line and damper. When air gets in the system, ink naturally flows back to the cartridge which is counter-intuitive to a...
Did the setting that tells Flexi to Hold the job maybe get changed? Maybe the cut file is being sent but it's being sent to the cutter which isn't ready to accept the job yet? Just spitballing.
Flushing the head can cause damage internally. If you pushed solution through one channel and it came out of another one at any point during your flush, that signifies damage. When you flush you should be able to see each nozzle spray solution individually as well. You can actually see the...
The first error is the ambient temperature being too low. Is the printer in a climate controlled area?
The second error straight up means the heater on head 1 is broken. The only problem is that head 1 is not the white head.
Unfortunately the capping adjustment really only tells the carriage where to stop in certain parts of the cleaning cycle. To get the cap more centered you want to take a look at the part of the carriage that hits the station. Yours looks like it hitting late. I've even shimmed that area before...
Air dusting with a normal air can shouldn't harm anything. You just want to get dust and debris out of there that may be causing a short or bad connection. You might have a blown transistor on that board judging by the picture. I don't see any burn marks but it can be damaged internally.
I do...
