Hey there, cool to see a mac setup! check which serial port you are hooked in, then check in the control panel for the Appletalk setup that it is not set to the same one, if you are using both, there should be a "Remote" setting for it. Hope that helps.

Its kinda like an extension of the fonts folder on a PC, but you can keep your fonts in line...
  14. font management questions

Funny thing with fonts, you delete it and you need it. Fonts are simple, but the "industry" gets in the way, by claiming they are software. Think of them as files that can be turned on or off by font management software. I keep files exactly the same on Mac or PC. I make a folder called fonts...

  16. Shouldn't be too hard

And the winner is CHOC, another font from Roger Excoffen, not Mistral or Staccatto 222! He designed for his brother in laws firm "Foundrie Olive" which is why it would be called Olivia as a generic name.
  17. Shouldn't be too hard

Hey, Mistral is the name of the orignal font, Stacatto 222 is Bitstreams knockoff
  18. art clean up question

I worked at a place that did not charge for my work, but any alterations I made were the companies, so when the client asked for "their" art back they were told they were not charged for the creation of the artwork so a charge would be in order.
