It's weird but I've had 20 head strikes over the years with my VersaCamm's with a vinyl bunch up. Never once did it damage the head. A few times it threw off the alignment of the black head a bit but that could be adjusted pretty easily. I agree on the pinch rollers, we only run the 2 outside...

I've been doing some comparisons myself recently. On YouTube there are some incredible videos that show Flexi features. Take a look at the ones on variable data and Auto Trace. For $800/year, Flexi seems like a very powerful design/RIP. The free trial will tell you a lot of what you need to know.

I hope you checked with FireSprint as well. They are merchant members here and also contribute to the knowledge base on this site, frequently helping people with problems. I never saw Signs365 help anyone here (I may have missed it). FireSprint would be my first go to.
