This is from a Hotel Chain. I cannot remember the name but I know it is a custom in house font that cannot be purchased. Only the ad agency or internal designers can typeset this lettering
20 years of looking at fonts makes it easier. Plus this is a common font that likely more than half the members here probably recognized too

I think the problem is the mixing of the fonts. With the top one the size difference is enough to overlook this problem. When placed inline they compete with one another and look out of place. Maybe differentiate them more with something like the attached

Illustrator.... draw one rope shape. Count number of shapes in border. Divide that number into 360. Rotate around a circle that number of degrees and duplicate. Probably 2-3 minutes
