One of my main goals this year is to use my time more efficiently every day. We all know how quickly a 12 hour day can disappear when you're wearing 6 hats and bouncing back and forth between interruptions and putting fires out.
I know there is tons of info online about time management etc -...
How are you printing borderless on that Roland? Or was the print just inserted back in for the picture?
We've been running Nazdar for a while on both our Rolands are are very happy with it. Took a few visits from the rep to convince us but I'm glad we did. $88 vs $155 per 440cc cart is a...
Go to Clip & Tile tab in Versaworks (2nd from the bottom) and click "Crop" on the top. Once that is selected you can drag in from the corners and crop the image any way you like, or enter specific location/size.
This is how I do it and often use this method for doing just what you mentioned.
Not to get too far off topic (Sorry in advance to the OP) but I'm definitely not a fan of this forced subscription only model. I get it from a business standpoint (theirs, not ours) but I don't like it. We're paying $55 USD a month for Adobe CC (full suite) which allows you to be logged in on...
So the GFP's are well built? I just started looking into them as our GBC is dying on us. I like the idea of the take up on the back...laminating roll to roll sounds great. We've always just had a bench behind the laminator to accumulate the prints as they come out.
Could you print to PDF with multiples, then import into Illustrator and assign cutcontour and set them up in batches/sheets?
Or is the only thing stopping you from just ripping your PDF a cut path? You may be able to do this in Acrobat or Caldera, but I'm not sure on that one.
Our GBC Laminator just suddenly started going full speed ahead, worked fine this morning - none of the buttons/pedal do anything to stop it. Emergency stop does kill it and we've tried rebooting and unplugging it but it's just stuck on full speed.
Anyone ever have this happen before? This...
Is this something new they're offering? I haven't heard of this either.
We bought ours (318gl) 4 years ago and haven't had any read head-related issues, aside from the white head clogging up faster than the others which seems like it's par for the course.
Lots of factors could affect the "value" of your business. 29 years in business would give me the impression that there is some good will worth something there. The equipment, as you've admitted is not worth anything. So really it boils down to your customer list and how efficiently a new...
I've got Versaworks installed on a new computer and want to get my 3M/Oracal profiles installed that I already have on an older computer.
Can I copy and paste from one computer to the other? Where would I find these profiles?
Or do I need to go through the download process from scratch again...
We've contacted a waste disposal/environmental company to try to properly dispose of our solvent/UV ink in the past. Their minimum was something like a 100 gal drum for around $250 (they drop off the drum, we fill up, they pick up when full) so for now we're just stock piling it until we're...
