I say your problem is your components, not your operating system. You can make a PC scream... just need the right goodies, and I'd highly suggest a custom build. Get EXACTLY what you want.

Yeah......... rips are BAD! I'd suggest trying more media. Once printed and ready, I can make 15 2x6 signs an hour using digital prints. Clean, apply, trim, NEXT! Just hands, tape and squeegees. I never use the laminator for applying, personal preference of course, but I don't like it.

1. Start using laminate. 2. Unless you are running LARGE runs, by hand is often best for application. 3. If you're going by the book when using a laminator, and it's still bubbly, could be not enough pressure or unever roller pressure.

I always charge for what I do, and the customer gets to keep their artwork. I think it's a very upfront approach my customers seems to like it. If I have to design, I charge an art fee.

Giclee printing... right? A 4 color eco-sol machine is NOT the printer for this. HP makes some nice ones, but indoor only (acques or however it's spelled). EXCELLENT quality, but that's about their only use. I'd say it may not work out great, but might as well try if you think it's worth it.
