New business would like old letters from previous business removed from this sign and a new signboard cut and placed with their logo. I do not manufacture this type of sign with stones, not sure what it is. The green seemed almost spongey to me when I pressed on it. The letters are currently...
Thanks everyone, I re-cut the numbers and sized them all individually. He also ordered 3' vinyl sponsor decals which I made. I didn't charge him again for the numbers. I've worked with him a little in the past and he's a jerk. I keep hoping he will make good on his numerous threats and go to XXX...
When you make boat registration numbers using Impact font do you single out each letter/number and individually make each letter and number 3" tall or do you just type it and make the whole thing 3" tall as one unit? Got a complaint that the W and V in this font are just short of 3" and wants...
There's a guy in town that does it out of his garage and he does a really good job. For years he had the market cornered then he got divorced and got out of it and my phone started ringing. I didn't realize he got out of it and I kept sending people to him...soon enough he was out of his...
So, with all this Covid stuff I obviously couldn't let anyone in my store. I started doing customized Senior signs and banners and had a great deal of people needing to pickup. Curbside works OK but coordinating times with working people was a PITA. I have a small breezeway area with a small...
Not sure how old you are but if you have kids, talk to the coaches or athletic director. It's likely you have a friend or a sibling that has kids at a school and knows "someone" to get you in.
On a side note...
I don't wait for the school to call me, I just start making things and put them on...
Yes, I ordered from NGlantz and they were back-ordered. Scared me half to death since I had all these senior yard signs but I found some at Midwest...pricey though 99 cents each! I received them the same day the NGlantz "back-ordered" ones arrived LOL - go figure.
Facebook and getting in with the schools works great! Try joining the chamber of commerce, they ususally do an email and or fb post of all new businesses. Word of mouth is really the best so once you get some work out there, people will start asking "who did that?" and it will go from there!
I second Sticker Mule. They come on a nice roll also. I order from them frequently. Good quality, fast shipping, good pricing. Ordering takes less than 5 minutes, will take you longer to set up to print and cut.
I would say you are right. My son is a senior and the school asked me to print 100 2-sided full color signs for them, one for each senior. I did them a little over cost just to cover my time and I donated for the stakes.
Yes it does. You are doing work for an essential business you are essential. Not for Joe Blow that wants a 4x4 sticker or Cindy who wants a wall decal for her living room. That's how most of the shops in my area are operating. They are actually stating it on FB..."Open for our Essential Business...
