Similar to graphic files, rename the pdf file by invoice numbers or customer name. Our terminal print the receipts, so we save them monthly with the bank statements.

Might be a firmware problem. I would not upgrade the firmware for the valueject since my ink supplier warned me not to. I suspect mfg upgrade their firmware from time to time to defeat the third party chips.

The chips are available for around $8 a piece. However, if you don't have clear cartridge to see the ink level, you risk of drawing air when ink is out, as the chip IS NOT sensing emptyness of the cartdridge, rather the amount of ink flowing through.

Our supplier charge for corner rounding, it make sense: 100 blanks, 400 corners, time plus wear of the equipment. As a business person, we know it cost extra.
