    I had a sprint 3 back in 1988, had 9 fonts, by 1992 I was using signlab with 2,500 fonts and a roland 24" plotter...they had the corner on the maket until the PC came down in price and got faster.

    Do a tape hinge, when you squeegie go across the flutes not with them. I do it dry all the time. In fact I have not done a wet app in years.

    Geno is correct...insurance? Permits pulled? Yes I will bet you need a permit! In my town that is $40, so add that in there.

    That is going to be around 400 holes to be drilled. two guys and a lift $200 and hour. I would guess 8-10 hours total. That would be an hour for pattern layout and set up, then figure 5 minutes a letter. Tell them cost plus, but at least 8 hours.

  19. Running two GS Plotters from one computer - simultaneously

    I do it with SignLab 9, I don't use the plot spooler. I just open a second signlab and do it like normal, just make sure you have the right plotter selected. I have not used a plot spooler since Signlab 4.5, years ago.

    I just bought a hammer and plan to build a house. I have NO experience in building, I know there will be a huge learning curve, but I am sure I can get some training along the way. Are there any other tools I might need...LOL
