  1. Warning! Graphic Images

I've been in office lobbies and tightened many standoff caps too....
  2. Can someone ID these braille signs and tell me how they are made/what they sell for?

Or you could sub out to a company that makes them and not work so hard for a $50 sign.
  3. Dodge Challenger body side decal?

I have a feeling that is a custom stripe anyway....not a typical R/T stripe that I've ever seen. EDIT: Just found this site where they probably came from....those are a 1970 throwback graphic..... http://www.challengergary.com/catalog.html
  4. Does this trim have holes behind it

Most likely yes. Chevys always seem to have holes and slots behind theirs....at least older ones.
  5. Pillows

We use Opti-solve Heavy Textile 8 oz (from Advantage)....made these pillows (a couple times) with it. Turned out great.
  6. VS-640 - ligth cyan run out during printing - problem

If your ink cart is low, but still has ink, take it out and gently rock it back and forth a few times, and replace it. That always seems to work when I have a color that starts out strong and fades after a bit.
  7. Yeti Cup Wrap?

It will look something like this (this is not to scale)
  8. Backup Power

If you have a 220 V printer (or even double 220 V) prepare to spend $$$$$$$$$$$
  9. .060 Styrene - What to do with the waste?

Make a bunch of security system company signs (ADT, Brinks, etc...) and stick them on u-channel.
  10. .060 Styrene - What to do with the waste?

PVC - Poly Vinyl Chloride Styrene - Polystyrene
  11. Temporary window graphics - "COMING SOON" window wrap during new construction

Why would it need to be adhesive? Print on paper, tack it all with tape. It is short term, no? Seems to be a lot of over thinking for a simple temporary sign.
  12. Cutting down of label sheets

Better yet, if you are doing that many orders in the 1000's , send them to Stouse or someone.
  13. Onyx tiling Problems on large jobs?

LOL....yes, definitely one wall at a time.
  14. Error code 14.10 hp L25500

Had this issue on our L26500. Yes, the electrical lead to the heater pulled out of the connector. Re-crimped, lasted a week and happened again. Tried soldering the wire in place, that lasted an hour....apparently that gets so hot it melts solder. So we found Hi-temp crimp connectors, stripped...
  15. Help with seams on a cargo van

I'm a bit out of the wrapping game, but when I was doing them, this was not the best method. I'm sure it can be done, but vertical seams are ideal in any installation situation. Unless it's a box van, and you have a few people helping out, that's a lot of vinyl to run horizontally.
  16. color changing

No matter how you have Flexi color settings set up, you should utilize the Soft Proof tool to view the file in its color corrected state. Click View>Color>Soft Proof....toggle back and forth and you will see the difference.
  17. photo enlargement for large format

1274x704 what? Is that inches? is that the pixel size? at what physical size? Those dimensions mean it's a pretty small file to begin....roughly 9x18 I suspect at 72 dpi. That will not look good blown up at all. You need an orignal file to be well over 300 dpi to blow up to anything near what...
  18. Flexi 12 borders for signs (think MUTCD)

Lots of good training videos on Youtube to help you out.... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWiuOHdcB8AWXjHO4hu5hiw
  19. using print media for cut vinyl?

True....it is a 5 year vinyl, and for the most part, lots of what we do gets changed out or removed long before that 5 year mark. I'll definitely use a longer life vinyl if I know the customer needs it for 10 years.
  20. using print media for cut vinyl?

I use IJ35C-10 for white RTA window graphics on occasion.....air release is great for easy install, and when the graphics are larger than 30", I don't have to tile.
