  1. Question on laminate for decals help me figure out what this stuff is!

Motomark is pretty thick but not sure if GF has one THAT glossy.
  2. Question on laminate for decals help me figure out what this stuff is!

Can you find out who the company was and ask them? Otherwise, no one else on here would know. There's lots of high gloss laminate available.
  3. Flexi Premium questions

    1. Nesting works, most of the time. 2. I assume you mean contour cutting. Works as well as you can set it up. Depends on the plotter in part. 3. Tiling is pretty simple and works well for me. You can set your tiles size, turn on and off what tiles print, set the overlap, etc. Pretty standard.
  4. is there a special tool that can cut/wrap vinyl around truck screws or rivets?

Something tells me you didn't read his question at all. NEITHER of these tools will help for large protruding screws. If they were just rivets, then yes.
  5. Oracal Questions

Then Oracal need to take their Brilliant Blue and change it to a 641 or something. It clearly is NOT a high performance vinyl and should not be in the same class as other 751 vinyls. Or just not even make it.
  6. Font Help

    Friz Quadrata
  7. Setup file for trailer wrap

Something that size I would design at full size at 72 dpi. And yes, save as a compressed TIF for final output.
  8. Name that font

It looks like it is Uncial....and it looks like someone couldn't identify it either, scanned a bad image of it, cleaned it up a little, and called it a match.
  9. FC7000 cutting issue

What size are these numbers? And you looked at your file to make sure this isn't what the actual shapes look like?
  10. material warping on L26500

Cheap vinyl with really thin liners warp the worst. I stick to materials with 90# or heavier liners. Seems to be the main culprit. Never had a poster paper warp...must be real thin too if yours does.
  11. Wrap Vinyl and normal vinyl?

And most wrap vinyl has air release built in to it for ease of install, no wrinkle, no bubble...harder to install a normal calendered vinyl without air release. It can be done, but for a fender, compare a 10 minute installation to a 30 minute one.
  12. Font ID please

Rockwell Extra Bold it looks like
  13. Font help please

Avant Garde....the most recognized font in history....
  14. Helmet Wraps & Decals

I don't think anyone does....most I have seen will be in sections that overlap and blend nicely. Pretty much impossible with 1 piece on most newer style helmets.
  15. Any ideas on either of these? Striking out here....

Larger one is very familiar but don't find a match.
  16. Is this a font?

No, it is actually a Typeface.
  17. Need a Vendor Capable of Producing These Signs

Yeah that Braille is not placed right.
  18. advanced Flexi question

It's funny....I log in to this forum for entertainment more than actual information lately....and I'm never disappointed.
  19. Lx850 Odometer

What makes you think that is not the correct usage? I calculate that to average maybe 445 fulls rolls of material....may be right if it wasn't run that much. We are almost at 100K sf on our L260, and we've had it 2 years. And it runs quite a bit.
  20. What materials can I find at Home Depot to apply vinyl to?

I haven't tried to stick vinyl on a toilet, yet, but I bet it will stick.
