  1. 100% high viz shirts wholesale

Hi! Anyone know of any dealers that sell 100% cotton high viz pocket tshirts? They have to be 100% cotton for electricians. I found one place that sells them but not wholesale. Just trying to get the best bang for my customers buck and another option. Thank you...
  2. Aluminum Pole Signs, need help

We started with smaller pole banners and they ended up wanting larger metal signs. Banners of this size I don't believe would last long in a Wisconsin winter. Not sure what the max size might be. They face South.
  3. Aluminum Pole Signs, need help

I should give more details sorry...Steel pole is 4" in diameter firmly attached to concrete on bottom and roof on top. Gino - yes width is 18" height is 48-54". I was thinking something like the photo that I found online with .080 aluminum.
  4. Aluminum Pole Signs, need help

When you say 1/4" thick are you talking about the aluminum sign? I was thinking .080 might be thick enough since it's only 18"x4'. I am having a welder friend take a look as it might be just as easy for him to make some brackets for me so they fit the poles nicely.
  5. customer needs a small pole pocket banner - reply is lol

I prefer it slightly lower. And I really like GACO5's layout. The words are lost because they are so fine. As he stated, the cup grabbed my attention and my eyes automatically went down to see what the cup was all about.
  6. Aluminum Pole Signs, need help

Looking to make aluminum signs 18" x 4-5' to hang on 2 sides of a square pole (like a street pole banner) -- they do not want banners. This is meant to be permanent signage, not seasonal. 1. How thick should the aluminum be? I saw one site with 3"16" (.1875) thick sign panels. Seems like...
  7. Sign gone wrong - looking for answers as to why

Thanks everyone! This is all very helpful. I did not plan to confront the customer, but I think it's important that I have SOME clue as to what happened so I don't look like a total moron LOL. I'm not very familiar with direct to substrate printing so this is a good learning experience for me...
  8. Sign gone wrong - looking for answers as to why

I had no idea you could buy signs from the Home Depot. I just looked on their site...the word "aLLuminum" is spelled wrong on all the aluminum signage LOL
  9. Sign gone wrong - looking for answers as to why

Gino - one side faces East the other West, both sides are the same. The horizontal line is in the same spot on both sides. All summer when I drove past I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, was it a shadow? Was it dirty? No, it is neither of those once I was close up. Both signs must've...
  10. Sign gone wrong - looking for answers as to why

I did not print or install this sign. 2 - 4'x8' sign boards screwed over the top of an existing plywood sign. This customer came to me in Spring looking for an estimate and must have found it cheaper elsewhere. This sign was installed around April-May this year. It is direct printed onto a 3mil...
  11. Gifts for your best customers at the end of the year

Here in Wisconsin everyone appreciates a good summer sausage and cheese box.
  12. Fun hand made sign

Thank you! The boards are new, aged to look old. The graphic designer sent the artwork so I had to use what he sent but good point on the wording. I had thought about trying to hand paint as you suggest but I only had a week and a full schedule so I opted for not attempting. Definitely something...
  13. What happens when you don't get a permit

LOL, yes, I agree. No worries, this guy is actually a good guy and a really good customer of mine. He's checked in with me a couple times this summer to make sure I'm OK with the hours and the work. He whipped my son into a man this summer with 12 hour days of physical labor. My son is well paid...
  14. Question Heaven help me. What is the name of this font?

1001 fonts website... distorted and eroded fonts to find something close...or it could be a regular font with an added grunge effect over the top.
  15. What happens when you don't get a permit

This reminds me of a funny story. My son has a summer job for a landscaping company. In the beginning of summer the owner told him if he ever hears him yell "RUN" he should just run through the yards and wait for a phone call. Well, it happened a few days later, the boss went running and the...
  16. What kind of paint for rivets?

The screw type rivets...I was able to match up some gloss enamel paint, turned out good! Thanks!
  17. What kind of paint for rivets?

I have a white trailer here with white rivets and black vinyl. What kind of paint do I use to paint a few rivets? Thank you!
  18. Shirt re-order pricing

That's what I was thinking too. Going forward I will need to tell the customer this upfront during the first order. I felt like it was a bit shady since I hadn't explained that upfront. Thank you!
  19. Shirt re-order pricing

I'm still relatively new to apparel. Recently, I've had some orders for 100+ shirts and the customer came back and ordered a few more a couple weeks after the order was complete...quantity under 15. The larger orders had a quantity discount, should I apply that discount to the small re-orders...
  20. A couple more recent hand-lettered projects...

    Looks awesome!!! Nice work!!
