  1. Need Help Mutoh VJ 1624 branded as OCE CS 9360

    That makes sense.
  2. Need Help Mutoh VJ 1624 branded as OCE CS 9360

The heater board is what decodes the ink cartridges though.
  3. Need Help Mutoh VJ 1624 branded as OCE CS 9360

Edit: You already answered my question Whoops! With Mutoh there is a .JFL file that is the main firmware for the printer and then there is also an .MFL file that is the ink chip firmware. If you can get your hands on the .MFL file it might do the trick.
  4. HP 800 vs Mimaki UCJV300

I don't know much about the HP 800 but I do know the UCJV300 doesn't use Epson heads and in my experience they didn't clog nearly as much as a solvent machine. Just so ya know.
  5. XC-540 won’t show up on router (video)

I'm willing to bet you can connect it to your network and ping it just like you did with the direct connection. The XC540 is an old machine and doesn't support a lot of modern network functions which is probably why it won't show up as a connected device. You should be able to send jobs through...
  6. Mutoh Ink Rumour

Just got some clarification from Mutoh. As stated above, there won't be a firmware upgrade or flush required. There will be a new item added to the maintenance kits as the new ink is more likely to clog in the waste tubes. It's basically an extra waste tube in case yours clogs. An important...
  7. Mimaki CJV150-160 Vinyl Waste Between Executions

There is a Cut System parameter #53 "Home X" that is supposed to adjust that unused space but in my experience it doesn't actually change anything.
  8. Mimaki jv300 - need a print head.

    Thanks for letting me know!
  9. Roland VS640 Printer History Report. High temperature error alert

I don't know if it affects warranty but it's not doing any damage. It just warns you because it changes the way the ink behaves and might affect your print quality. Once the temp goes down, the error goes away and you're back to normal!
  10. Mimaki jv300 - need a print head.

They didn't make it as hard on the newer versions for some reason. With the non-OEM JV300 head you just need to move the head memory board over to the new head and that's it.
  11. Roland VS640 Printer History Report. High temperature error alert

That error means either the room the printer is in is too hot or the head is shorting out. Usually if it's the head, it doesn't go away. Are you working in a garage or something?
  12. Mimaki jv300 - need a print head.

We have them here in Denver. We carry OEM and non-OEM but as you know, they're all the same with different stickers on them. Here's a link if you're interested. OEM JV300 Head | Non-OEM JV300 Head
  13. E092Err CR Over Load

Check for anything that might be stopping the head from moving properly. The head lock mechanism might be jammed for example. You can also unlock the head, move it all the way to the left of the machine and then power on. hen observe where it stops and let us know.
  14. Need Help Mutoh VJ 1624 branded as OCE CS 9360

If I had to guess, they won't allow you to change the machine model once it's already an Oce. You might be able to get a new/used 1624 board and install it but there's no guarantee that will work and it's a pretty expensive part to guess. It's possible the junction board will need to be replaced...
  15. Need Help JFX200 2513 System Halt (1) 199:PCB DRV1-F4

It's a blown fuse, "F4," on the UV driver.
  16. One clogged head? Roland sp540v

It shouldn't be pressurized. A normal cartridge has all of the air taken out which makes it so it doesn't pull back on the system as the ink level drops. Refillable cartridges like yours should have a small hole in them to allow air in so that the same problem doesn't happen. Maybe yours is...
  17. One clogged head? Roland sp540v

Your cap top is not working properly or the tubes are clogged then. Did you get an OEM cap top or is it 3rd party? 3rd party ones tend not to work. You can also take a syringe and flush the pump tubes to make sure they aren't clogged.
  18. Need help with Roland!!

Mutoh Cutters are made by GCC and in my experience GCC is not good.
  19. One clogged head? Roland sp540v

Check the nipple on the manifold to make sure it's not cracked or broken. If that looks good, swap the position of the yellow and magenta dampers and run a cleaning cycle. That will tell you more about where the issue might be.
  20. What am I missing? Adjusting SP-300V

It's not too hard as mentioned above. If you find the adjustments aren't changing anything even though you are turning the screws, make sure the area where the head sits is nice and clean. Ink tends to build up between the carriage and the head bracket and it acts like glue.
