Usually the test print will look bad after moving. A few cleanings should get it back up and running if all the maintenance parts are working properly. I would take the waste bottle off and hold it below the tube while running a cleaning cycle. Ink should flow out fairly consistently while the...
The line doesn't move between alignments on the CJV30. The same pattern prints every time. So as long as you chose the best looking line, it should be good. Just keep in mind that Mimami also does things backwards so left is positive and right is negative. A lot of times people assume it's the...
Normally I would agree with everyone above about a hanging fiber etc. But these little drops don't have the typical streak that happens when it's a fiber. I thought it might be dripping out of the head but OP doesn't see that happening. I'd still probably just change the dampers to be sure...
Did you test the F2 fuse on the main board? It's smaller than the others. Basically, when ink is definitely in the head and none of the colors fire at all, it's almost a certainty it's the fuse. That being said there are rare cases where the head itself is fried but let's hope that isn't it.
Do your permanent chips have a reset button or are they just meant to be permanent without a reset button? The reason I ask is because the CJV30s store the chip serial numbers in memory and most permanent chips need a re-setter that changes the serial number for it to work. Even the ones with a...
If that's the case, make sure your RIP's work folder is on the local computer rather than the network drive. That way you don't need to rely on the wireless to keep working throughout the print.
The internet shouldn't affect the connection between the computer and the printer. I'm willing to bet either the computer/hard drive is falling asleep and causing the communication to be interrupted during printing or the router is acting up for some reason. Check your sleep settings and if they...
When it comes to digital CMYK printing, when people say spot color they usually mean to match a PMS color. Most CMYK digital inkjet printers don't have true spot color capabilities. They just use the CMYK process to simulate it. The Gerber machines are an example of a true spot color machine...

It would a pretty big coincidence if all the filters started failing at the same time. Normally you would see one or two channels have issues that tend to get worse as time goes by.
I would definitely run the air purge on all the channels. What should happen is mostly air comes out, then ink...
Did you run an air purge? Usually that's the first thing I do if there is drop out. I would also try to figure out how long it's been since you replaced the primary filters (in the ink supply box). Mimaki recommends replacing them once per year.
The sub tanks have magnetic sensors on the...
If it's all 4 not charging then it's probably the maintenance station. Check the bottom of the head for any ink build up that might keep the cap top from sealing properly with the head and clean as necessary. Also, wet the cap top down with cleaning solution. Sometimes it needs a little help on...
The ink naturally wants to recede and the dampers are responsible for holding the ink in the system. If at any point along the line there is air getting in, that will cause the issue. Did you change the connectors between the damper and ink line as well? How about the o-rings?
