There are "long shank" grommets available for 4mm coro also. I've used them with dibond also but I've always drilled the holes first. I'm amazed that you can push a self piercing grommet through by hand Gene! I'm impressed.
I've had good luck using Simple Green for an overnight head soak. Wet a paper towel, lay
it over the capping station and slide the printhead back over.
Years ago we were setting up for a local trade show. I built a small turntable with a white and a clear sheet of acrylic notched in the center to they slid together, (looked like an "X" when viewed from the top). We're a screen shop and do mostly decal work. Anyway, I applied an assortment of...
I've been running an FC7000-100 for a few years now. My third Graphtec. I exclusively use Cutting Master in Illy CS3 at the moment. I print on my HP9000s and cut with CM and it's amazingly accurate. More so than my Edge and GSxPlus even.
I love it.
I have my old Macintosh G4, (Illy 10), plugged...
I learned that ink viscosity is very important. If it is a bit thicker than OEM, the ink "squirts" a microsecond later and all of a second your bi-directional printing is shadowing and your crisp edges are no more. . . .
I'm running a Canon iPF8300, 12 color and comes with an excellent Photoshop plug in driver. I got a heck of a deal on a new one. Cheaper than the 24" Epsons are going for.
I'm not sure how the pricing is in Europe but it may be worth seeking out some dealer whose willing to deal.
You're only talking about 3-4 weeks. Hang in there with the Dell until CuttingMaster is released. It's been a great plug in for years. I'm running it on my old G4 with Illy 10 and on my Big MacPro with CS3.
I've been banking with a local credit union for 20 years. Interest bearing checking account. No check fees, no deposit fees. Most months I make money. I have an open line of credit for emergencies and have financed two large equipment purchases through them at very decent interest rates.
My...
Chicago, 5900 will stick but you have to wait a day to print side 2.
I switched from NazDar's coro ink years ago. It stunk and was just a pain. Dried in the screen too quickly, even in the semi-automatic press.
I switched to NazDar's 9800 PolyPlus series. It's thin enough to run right out of...
I learned back in high school cave club. Back than we didn't have those fancy connections though. The rope when through your legs, around your torso and over your shoulder and you held and controlled the tag end behind your back.
We learned in gravel pits too. It seems that they put the nix on...
Before I retired mine, it always asked me to reseat the cyan printhead.
If it asked again, I would pop ALL of them out and right back in and for some reason, it usually worked.
No answer here, just a makeshift solution I used.
If Gerber ever updated MacImprint you would never have to leave Illustrator to use your Edge. . . . If. . .
it's the simplest Edge environment that they ever made.
