No.... I guess it maybe can't be done. I don't need it for a few days. I may just fake it. I can do it distorted or do it on a circle then push the ends in a bit to fit the oval. It will end up being pretty small anyway. Probablyless than ½". Thanks all anyway...

I don't see what slicing the oval does. I tried that....nothing. I thought if I used the create path I could do it. It will start anywhere on the oval, but only types in a clockwise direction, so if it's on the bottom it's upside down. I thought there was an option like, control, alt , shift or...

No matter how big you get a circle it never will fit an oval.

The arc text tool only seems to work on a circle......I might be numb...

No, I don't have Illustrator...I can do it with the distortion tools in Flexi, but I can only form it around the oval with the letters distorted. I forgot to say I don't want the letters distorted. I only want the text to follow the oval with an offset margin.

The only effect I want is to get the text to follow the shape of the oval on the outside of the oval bottom with an offset from the oval too and to be able to read it right side up ( in Arial ) The fine print on the bottom of the oval in my attachment in black.

I can only get it to read upright on top the oval or it's upside down when it's on the bottom of the oval.

You still need more than a cutter, vinyl, computer and photoshop. You still need the design software. Photoshop don't cut the mustard......and some knowledge wouldn't hurt.

You might have a pinch roller that is up and it should be down or one down and it should be up

A tape holder is a good idea. One can be made fairly cheap from pvc pipe. Also if you're using clear, take a "Bounce" pad and wipe the roll with it first. It will get rid of the static.
