Was just curious if any wrap shops are using these latex printers and how it has been going and what types of materials you have been using? I am very interested in one!
Pros, Cons?
Thanks,
Kurt
It is nice if it will not be used for advertising. Otherwise clean up the text so you can actually read what is says without too much concentration.
The colors and composition of it are nice and the wrap itself is neat looking as a piece of art is concerned but is lacking in the contrast dept...
Man, these places must be hiring some cheap ass labor! Twice in the last week and a half I got sent the wrong stuff from Advantage as well as some billing issues all of the sudden. Never had one problem in the past but it seems I am talking to a couple of different people when I call and they...
I lock my doors so I don't get walk in customers anymore. Been the best thing I have ever done. By appt. only. Sick of people wasting my time for goofy stuff.

I have a customer who is looking to wrap an entire semi and he was curious if the Acid wash at the truck stops will hurt the wrap or the laminate in any way.
Anyone experience this at all. I would think it wouldn't hurt but want to make sure before he spends thousands upon thousands getting...
There where so many things I wanted to incorporate but couldn't. They where pretty strict on what I could include... Oh the possibilities! lol
It was a bit tricky, had to make a "homeade" template for this one.
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks,

Typically once it comes up there isn't much of a chance of getting it to go back down. That area shouldn't be a difficult area to get vinyl to stay down on if it is relief cut on the seams and it was prepped and installed properly.
Not sure I would mess with the syringe and adhesive, sounds...
hmmm. I agree with Joe, you are sort of putting yourself into a corner. It also might be a turn off to people who aren't "of your same religion" If that is the clientele you are going after then you will probably be ok.
No knock on religion but when someone starts off by saying "We are a good...
Had a request to turn this van into a "hippie" van of sorts. Was pretty fun, going to use it for a bunch of promotional events and such. Only regret I really have is not using a matte finish lam to give it more of a faded, old retro look but it wasn't up to me....
Thanks,
Kurt
AMEN DAN! We lose projects all of the time to shops in the area that cobble together some piece of garbage Aurora graphics background with some fancy fonts they got on some cd at Office Max only to see them driving down the road doing that company not a bit of good. Actually in many cases it...
Thought this was interesting!

So if you ever wanted a Porsche but the budget doesn't allow and you have tons of time on your hands here you go!
Thanks,
Kurt
Thanks man, that looks like it!
Next questions, has anyone actually bought anything off of that site? Looks a little bit sketchy. Don't want to get scammed.
Thanks,
Kurt
I would sub this job out to be honest with you. Would probably make a better profit and would be much less work.
Check out the merchant classifieds for options....
If you are going to do it yourself either use Oracal 951 wrap vinyl or 3Mij180c. Wouldn't mess with the Roland stuff.
Kurt
Check with Fellers, Advantage Sign Supply etc, some of the larger suppliers. Also might want to look into Oracal 970RA if that have that color, great stuff!
