ok, i found the head rank menu, how do i know which is correct?

the dampers have ink in them, no bubbles in the lines. whats the head rank?

yes, i emptied the waste ink tank before the head wash and ink refill, and it filled up.

wow, now there is not ink coming out when it prints. it seems like its printing, but nothing is coming out. before i started it made me do a head wash, then an ink refill. is there some other parameter i have to check/change/update/initialize or something?

there are no 0's in the ip address, the printer says 192.168.1.253, and i am able to ping the printer. the strange thing is that this board came with a piece of paper that says "firmware installed-yes" version - 1.18

the printer starts in board manager mode saying the ip address is 192.168.1.253. my network uses 192.168.0.x. i can't change that. maybe if i use a second network card, and a crossover cable and set it up using 192.168.1.x

do you know if a new main board comes with instructions? is it even something i can do myself?

yes, the ink runs through the heads, i have emptied out the waste ink tray, and it fills up after doing a head cleaning, i have even done a head wash with the cleaning cartridges.

anyone have a diagram of things i should check, fuses, cables, or even a schematic of the inside of the printer?

how many fuses are there to check? i only see 3 fuses, 2 big ones right by the plug, and 1 small one on the board right next to them.

i think it depends on what version dxf, eps, or ai you export them as. i use illustrator cs3 and export all my files as version 3 eps to enroute with no problems ever.

i'm thinking so, but why is it still printing no ink during a test print or nozzle check? this all happened at once, so i'm thinking the problems are related.
