yeah, i can connect and send jobs via USB but nothing actually prints. it looks like its printing but no ink comes out.

i have tried that, i have tried pinging every address from 192.168.0.1 thru 192.168.0.200. even if i have the wrong ip address in the RIP and on the printer, there should be activity lights on the router where its plugged in. i have tried plugging it in other ports on the router also, still no...

also, when it was working the ip address for the printer was always 192.168.0.4, default gateway 192.168.0.1. my router configuration page, under attached devices shows only 2 attached devices, my computer and my other valuejet, and all other addresses are 192.168.0.x

my router address is 192.168.0.1, the default gateway, my computer's address is 192.168.0.2 with the default gateway set at 192.168.0.1, my other valuejet's address is 192.168.0.6 witht the default gateway set at the same, why would the printer i'm having trouble with have an ip address of...

is there a way to replace just that part? if this is the case, then i still have the problem of it not even printing a test print. or are these 2 problems related?

everything is the same, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, gateway is 192.168.0.1

tcpsend did not work. the ip address for the printer is 192.168.0.4. if i uplug the cable and plug it into my other valuejet,and change its ip address to 192.168.0.4, then tcpsend works for it. so my network settings are correct, there is something else wrong with the printer i think.

also in response to RandyA, there are only 3 things connected to the router, my computer, and 2 mutoh valuejets, 1 works fine, the other is the one im having problems with. i am downloading TCPsend and the preripped files to try that.

i am using production manager 8.5 that comes with flexisign pro. i have tried pinging the ip address, with no response. i have already installed a second network card and hooked up the printer directly to the computer with a crossover cable following the instructions from mutoh's website...
