I think if I use the ivory, I'll just make a couple of pans from .040 and make the usual inner structure from 1" x 1" square aluminum. it was wishful thinking on my part that .25" would work.
we had a nice old one on the side of a brick building in our town but they had someone come and re-paint it all fresh and new which was stupid as now it is a new wall sign with nothing of the old left. they should have left it alone
it's double sided so I thought about running a top and bottom bar between the posts and attaching two single sided signs to that. guess that will be the plan. thanks
I usually use .375" thick to make a 4' x 8' sign between posts but because I want t use the ivory and it comes only in .25", what's your opinion on using that thickness at 4'x 8' between posts? too thin? using U-brackets to mount to posts

I wonder about that Joe as there has been an over amount of help and great advice on all the threads concerning this quest for a logo. as far as learning goes, I agree that seeing the worst possible looking logos with a ton of mistakes and just plain lack of any knowledge of any design are...

I'm more surprised that a major company that makes faces wouldn't know how to get it to look good when lighted. who cares about how far away, other lights and all that other stuff. they should have all this down by now. other factors are the thickness and the level of how opaque the white is...
