    The newer cards should be auto sensing. The printer is not, so it does depend on the network card/router.

    Certainly sounds like a network issue. Could be a connection or a cable. Check Production Manager for an error.

    Yes, it could be a heater or thermocouple issue. But I would expect that on every print, not just the 'second'. If you are connected directly, you should be using a cross over cable.

    Probably firmware or motherboard. Short of turning the machine off for a while and seeing if it is an overheating component on the motherboard.

    Possibly. Could have an air leak. Or just an air bubble if the cart was emptyl. Have you tried a series of 'cleanings' while watching the line to see if it fills?

    There should be profiles installed when you install the printer. There are also plenty here: ftp://ftp.mutoh.com/Printer%20Information_Manuals/VJ-1604/Profiles/SAi/1204-1604/ Profiles for 1204, 1304 and 1604 should all work fine.

    You need to change the Init Fill Flag in Maintenance mode. This will tell it where it is in the Ink cycle - charged with ink or not.
