I wanted to take a picture with my hand in front of a billboard with 6' high letters so my hand is the same size. No time though...you'll just have to picture my joke in your head.
I have an SP-300V for sale in Northern Ontario. Brand new black head and the other fires like a dream. Test print is very important no matter which one you buy. The age of the machine isn't a major big deal. This generation of printer is a tank. -Mine is also selling for Canadian Dollars =35%...
I've tried on my old Roland SP and always got a green tint to my grays. Told and read that it's a limitation of 4 colour ink systems. It's trying to produce gray with yellow, magenta, and cyan. I just bought the Roland VG540 with 7 colour ink and it produces grays that look much better due to a...
I'm looking for where to find or what manufacturer sells two-sided cold lam film- So I can apply to inside of windows facing out.
Canadian suppliers preferred.
Thanks!
I started to hijack another thread about this, and I still would like some advice, so I thought I'd post a new thread.
I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Roland SG540 or VG540.
I know the spec. differences already.
I'm still having a hard time making a decision.
My current printer is an SP300V...

Can you explain how you'd use twice the ink? That makes no sense to me. I understand that you need to keep more ink in stock, but the printer isn't going to lay down twice the ink on the media is it? Or am I missing something?
I heard the grays are better with the light configuration. I'd be very interested to know this because I'm ready to pull the trigger on a VG or SG but if the gray is no different I'll save $4000.00 and get the SG. Anyone advice?
