I agree Eric. And your prices always seem to be consistent, so I have no problem making as estimate based on past jobs from you if I need to give a customer a rough cost. You've done nothing but make my life easier and made me money.
This seems to be the biggest challenge for me as well. All I do now is tell the customer that the logo their nephew designed in Photoshop or their jpeg is no good, and it will be x amount to do it up properly. Eric at the Vector Doctor is so reasonable that I can't see doing any of it myself...
I heard Justin Pate, the wrap guru, once say that the bottom line of the door never lies. I'm not agreeing necessarily, but so far it's worked 100% of the time for my experiences
When asking for feedback the goal is to find obvious broken rules regarding design, layout, kerning etc. Then we look deeper for things that we tend not to like, either personal opinion or trends that we like or dislike. I couldn't find a thing. As far as I'm concerned; you're done. Nicely done.
I would like to see one more thin blue stripe running with the white- perhaps a shade between. And the bullet points a little smaller so it clutters less. But otherwise nice an clean
Ah yes, aging and changing trends. I'm amazed people are surprised that they don't care for "new" things as much as the old. Of course you like the older style. That's what you grew up with. My dad loved the old Miller Indy cars compared to the new ones. I loved the 80's Nascar style compared to...
I personally think a trailer is an ok place to put a lot of info. They often sit at a clients house for the neighbors to read.
That being said, the phone number is wayyy to big. Clever name though
I'm trying to quote a client who is looking to replace a project sign at a job site. They have an existing one up already that is a woven-poly type material that is basically stapled to a wood surface & frame. I'm looking for a supplier for the same product that I can just place over the old...
Aside from agreeing with the obvious clutter, the black box with white lettering looks like a bargain store sign, not a business that does graphic design. Simple is good, but use a little artistry
I'm always surprised that I very seldom see any mention of the Ezy Taper.
Got mine last week. Its so simple of a design that it's scary. That being said it is has a well thought out design and is very well built. It's also pricey, but so far it's doing what it's supposed to.
As most people when requested to rate something, we tend to look for the negative. With that in mind. I don't much care for the fact that all of your shirt demo pictures are two coloured, yet all of the pricing on the same pages list for one colour
