Not quite sure where to ask this but a web search turned up nothing. I am looking for blank car floor mats that I can embroider on. The rubber backing needs to be applied after if it has one.
TIA if anyone knows about these things.
2nd that on the love/hate. We have the KioskII and have put as much into it in aftermarket parts and repairs as the initial investment. Just when it looks like it will run good something happens to screw it up.
Well I cut it in 2 panels, each 12 inches high and 51 inches wide with a .25" overlap. The problem with the heat press material is it shrinks when heated so lining up panel 2 was tough but I cut that one down to 16" parts and it worked out. Press time was about 20 mins total.
you can do it via legalzoom.com. inexensive and easy for you.
you can put TM on you mark without applying. it is recoginzed in the US but not international. you get the circle r when you get approved by the feds.
one thing to note, make sure that whatever you submit is the most generic...
Customer wants printing on an easyup nylon cover. I originally thought it was more of a canvas cover that I could use apparel vinyl on it but now that it is in the shop there is no way we can apply heat to it without damaging it.
Are there any materials that I can use to print on this thing?
Novachromeusa.com in NoCal, Conde, and Coastal Business all sell the printers and ink. The gel ink printer is all the rage. We are still on our old epson 1280 though. With $1K in ink sitting there it doesn't make sense to buy a new system right now.
If you dont want to buy the printer...
costco.com has 4 under $100 and that price includes shipping.

One thing I would add as someone who is often asked to embroider these logos at 4" or less is the size of the elements when scaled down. Sewing anything smaller than 7mm or 1/4 inch is generally not going to show up well and on something like a polo shirt won't show up at all.
So when these...
Thanks. We are in a split building and the shop next to us has the same door. I will talk with the owner of that biz and maybe the service company will give us a deal on 2.
Thanks for the 411. There is a Vortex service about 20 miles away that offers free estimates. I will give them a call.
My guess is the closer needs replacement. It looks pretty gritty.
Will do when I get back over there. The closer is concealed inside the door frame. I will climb up and take some picks from the top and a video of it closing.
Customer is looking for as much authenticity as possible. I was noticing the M has slants on the legs and the K has the join in the center. Just looking for something close. We are not going to reproduce the same sign with raised letters in the above described way, just black vinyl on magnets.
