First off, don't print from Flexi's vinyl color swatches. They are pretty much merely a representation. You're gonna have to find a PMS color that matches the vinyl, and use that, and even then you may have to play around with it. Bright oranges, bright greens (like florescent) are hard to hit...

Do you mean your color swatch palette? Just click the Swatch table icon - looks like a Rubiks Cube. If it doesn't reappear, you may have accidentally moved it OFF the screen, which I've done before.

I've often wished ALL laminate rolls were 1/4" to 1/2" narrower than media rolls, for this very reason. I mean, who actually prints EDGE TO EDGE that needs the laminate to be full width? And with our laminator (soon to be replaced) we ALWAYS have alignment issues and end up with laminate hanging...

Sad that a company that is maybe 95% based on ADHESIVE products can't get their adhesive products right.

Why denatured alcohol?? Regular Iso works just fine, and smells better.

I'd say most common mistakes are: -Not cleaning properly/adequately -Not test aligning EVERYTHING before final placement. If you don't you will almost always end up with one end too short, text ending up in an opening or door handle, or everything being crooked. -Cutting/trimming with a knife...

So whoever designed that didn't search through fonts for very long when making it....Berlin and Bernard are one after the other in the font list....

I don't know what to tell you, the Alignment box should be popping up if you use 4 point. Something is not right but I can't see what it is without going through your process. So you RIP/send the entire print and cut job at once, with the "Send as separate jobs" selected, correct? In turn...

So you're saying when you go to send the cut job, this little box never pops up? If it doesn't, you have not sent a contour cut job then.

Sounds like you may be doing it wrong....you don't really add the marks in Flexi, you set them in Production Manager....it will allow different types of marks. You can't just arbitrarily place your own marks in the Flexi file, it's all done in Production Manager.

Always wondered that myself...I got to where I stopped sending proofs in PDF format because of this, and sent as JPG. But then I had the problem of customer calling "if I blow this up real big on my screen it's all jaggedy"....:banghead:
