This naturally is a specified material by an architect....anybody know if there is such a product and is it frosted, window tint or white difuser? I am without a clue at this point... lol
Oh no I have no pics and I wont be putting it on...just a simple decal of a companies logo.... like I said no real big deal lol
here are pics of the prototype I supply decals for...but again I did not design or have anything to dowith the wrap.
Well I finally have made the big show.... I had to make 10 decals for a customer to put on rookie James Hinchcliffe's car.....
I guess it aint much but it's as close as I have gotten to the big show.
I do graphics for a Rolex grand american prototype.... but this is way cooler!!!! lol...
I thought of doing that but then thought how would I know if I were getting it dead on. If I am out the cut will show it. I also tried cutting white boxes with the 3mm square knocked out. used clear mask to line it up and the Opus kept catching the cut edge of the vinyl and confused it i guess...
Gino, I am printing on this Iguana green, there is no white to be had....Now of course had I really thought this out I could have done it super easy on the edge!!!
There all cut now but at what labour cost to me...oh well live and learn...I'm sure I will do it again
Customer requests vinyl cut decals with a colour that is virtually impossible to match using 4 col so we do all there stuff in vinyl and I drop the black into it and premask.
they wanted small decals also and I smartly said no problem, we can print the black on the green and die cut...
lite banner is good but honestly I cant believe the pricing I get from proveer on 13oz scrim. I am pretty sure it is about 30 or 40 dollars cheaper than anyone elses and I know it is the same stuff.
It might appear to be copperplate but thats probably because you cant see it up close. It seems to be some form of a drafting font. They really are not serifs.
I imported the pdf back in, and I get a box that opens asking me at what dpi I want the transparency?... I have never been asked that question before and I know the file technically should have no transparencies in it. Once I tell it how much dpi I guess it converts the entire file into a...
can SignLab 8 break masks?
If so what is the term of the function that does it and where do I find it?
seeing that illustrator seems to have them I would think you could break them in the software
nope none of these.. It is on the top of the boat. I wonder if such a font really exists although it should not be to difficult to redraw, it's just nice to know how certain letters might look that are not contained in that word.
Thanks guys anyways.....
I think this font is way cool and worth having...but I do need to replicate a customers name using this one. any ideas you font gurus? It is the copy reading outerlimits
No it's down fine. It's 3m IJ 180 with the 3m IJ laminate. It is the real wrap material and I am not exactly a novice at vinyl installation (20 plus years) I just have never wanted to do this end of the business.
I found instead of using a soft squeegee that last 2 inches or so that my finger worked a lot better. It is basically on the underside of the vehicle and hell if I am redoing all that...no way no how lol
have great weekend guys, I'm outa here!!!1
yea well on close inspection as the orange nears the bottom it is far from stellar. The vinyl by that point is so worn out from lifting and pulling and lifting it is really hard to get it down without some form of crease happening. I am at the bottom on the other side now and the same thing...
yes...common sense takes over when you stare at it long enough. I have never done something like this before. I have put wrap material and lam on the sides of a truck like a photo or logo but never in the true sense of wrapping. Holy cow I have a lot respect for you pros. I am just doing this...
OK it is working well but I never really though about this issue. I have seen plenty of wraps but never really noticed this... What do you do where the graphic goes over two different body panels that never seperate or open up. Do I cut it and jam the vinyl in the sides or leave it going...
